The Po Boy Factory is well known to locals but may not catch your attention if you just drive by unless you notice the full parking lot. It's low key exterior does not reflect the great New Orleans style food they offer with its great flavors.

Step through either door of this place and the community comes through. This place is doing things RIGHT and is a key part of the neighborhood. Great options to eat big or eat inexpensively. Try the Jambalaya at least once. :-)

Wow! What an amazing place. Great food and great ppl. It was Friday night and very crowded. We got catfish, chicken finger Po boy and basket of chicken fingers to go. The food was so good. I do have to add the titles on the ceiling had several football teams except my beloved Ohio State Buckeyes. Please add Ohio State!... More

Wonderful place! we have eaten there twice and I will continue to go back as much as I can. Went with my son and best friend first and we left no crumbs! Took my wife next and we had the Shrimp and crab dip and ate every bit, even when we had eaten all the bread, I used a spoon... More

Had shrimp gumbo, very flavorful. Also had fried shrimp basket. Very good. My sister had red beans and rice. It was a hit as well. Mom had oyster po boy. The Cajun fries are really good, but you have to ask for them. They had run out of pecan pie, which several people wanted. I had key lime pie to... More

So, back when Huntsville had no Cajun food, this was the talk of the town. You tolerated people waiting for tables with their butts in your face. You tolerated the decor and the obvious age of the restaurant. You tolerated being packed in and even the cleanliness. But those days are past. Don't get me wrong, the food is OK... More

If you like seafood, then you will be in Heaven at the Poor Boy factory! The blackened shrimp or grouper Poyboys are better than you can get anywhere. Their Cajun boiled shrimp is as fresh as you would get in the Gulf of Mexico. Make sure you grab a piece of chocolate cake on your way out!

Ver informal restaurant with super cajun food. Poboys are super. My favorite is the fried or grilled grouper sandwiches. Get there early or you will be waiting for a seat.
