I was extremely pleased...my dinner was delicious and the service exceptional! Alejandro did a fantastic job! I ordered the Fiesta Ranchera. I will definitely return soon! Great salsa too!

Great Mexican delighted food and great marqurittas, we pretty much order fajitas for one since there is so much to share with each other. Usually still end up taking home left overs for our omelette breakfast in the morning!..

Good with few adjustments needed

We have been frequent visitors-since they opened. At least once or twice a month. The service is good and the portions are good. On the negative side , the last visit was on a Sunday around 6 and the chips were greasy and little chewy. I requested some more chips which were not much better. Normally they are light and crispy. This visit I didn’t order any meal with taco because last two visits the hard taco were chewy not crisp like they were old shells. One visit I did send them back. These were early visits where one would think food be fresher unless it was left over from lunch. Overall friendly service and good food except items noted.

The Chile Relleno was great! The people who work here are always so nice. I the chicken taco salad was very good too.

Great Mexican food with a large selection of entrees.

We eat at El Monte about every 4-6 weeks and have never been disappointed. My wife is not a fan of Mexican food but always finds something she can enjoy. Prices are a little higher than I like, but the quality of the food and the service make it worthwhile.

Love the chips and salsa

Most places have watery salsa and thin chips. This place has thick salsa and thicker chips, better for dipping. Enchilada supreme was great. Service was great. Good atmosphere and clean. I had a pork dish that was not good. The pork looked greenish and in big squats chunks. Very tough like jerky. I had one piece and then ate the rice and beans. The standard margarita was good too.

Quick service, and decent food.

We mainly went to this restaurant because it was nearby our hotel and we didn't want to drive back to Huntsville since we had been there most of the day. We just wanted a quick dinner, nearby, that tasted reasonably good - nothing fancy. This restaurant was fine in all those regards. It was exactly what I expected.

Excellent Food

We eat here pretty regularly. It is close to home, reasonably priced, and has great food. I recommend the 'Nachos al Carbon'. The flour chips are great.

wow, didn't know this place was here ,it a little drive out Winchester Rd .Food was great not overly spicy, which was good for me, décor was grand . Server was very attentive to bring refill and suggestions for dessert.

Good Atmosphere, Friendly Staff

This place has a great atmosphere to it with very friendly staff. Our server was awesome and super attentive! (wish I could remember his name) I had the chimi and it was delicious! Beans and rice were good also. The chips and salsa tho are awesome! The prices are low and portions are large. Great dining experience. :)

Mambo Taxi

Good place to eat. We really enjoy their Mambo Taxi, their sangria and margaritas are both delicious. Fajitas are not bad either. I have a favorite place so it's hard to compete.

Apparently we got here just in time! There was a line when we left and someone setting up a table for some time of entertainment maybe. It was on a Thursday night. Salsa and chips were very good. We both ordered the Pollo Feliz, chicken and rice, with cheese sauce. There was very little cheese and the chicken was dry. But, the seasoning and flavor was good. The strawberry margarita was good. We were in a both by kitchen and were bumped several times by the staff. Still, will go back and try something else. Atmosphere nice and seemed to be very family friendly and lively.

We have been to El Monte numerous times and everything has been consistent. The service, the food, and the atmosphere are always great. We go as well as recommend others go. The prices are good and the serving are large.
