My daughters and I went for dinner Saturday night, May 1. I love this restaurant. However, their portions have gotten much smaller. By and large, the girls enjoyed theirs. I ordered scallops and they were small and overcooked with no seasoning. We were halfway through...our meal when we finally decided they weren't bringing any bread. So we asked for some. Surrounding tables got bread automatically. Odd. Anyway, I hope Cotton Row isn't declining and will remain successful.More
Went for a birthday dinner. We got the crabcake first. It some very delicious slaw on top, really good. Next dish was foie gras. It was great. Carmelized pineapple and some kind of reduction... last we had the salmon. This was the best single dish...ive had since moving to huntsville. Spicy harissa seasoning, served over creamy risotto on top of a dill cream sauce, with a grilled piece of squash, balsamic reduction, and another component (chutney or chipotle... not sure) that was super smokey and delicious. Amazing meal. We finished with a creme brulee that was really good too. I also had a great cocktail, a beer, and we got a dish for the kiddo. Even after all that, it was cheaper than meals weve had at much worse restaurants around town. This place is a gem and i cant wait to come back!More
Considering the upscale dining prices I should not be dining outdoors in uncovered areas ( worrying about rain!!). I also should not wait while my bread was cold to receive a bread plate. Our food was delicious, but my salad dressing was average at best....Parking was challenging. We enjoyed the music. For these reasons : 4 starsMore
Stumbled upon this restaurant while exploring Huntsville... now, it’s a must! Great atmosphere. The staff was stellar and got us in without a reservation. The food and drinks were amazing and spot on. I have to say the filet was one of the best I’ve...ever had. I would absolutely recommend Cotton Row!More
We celebrated our twin son's 21st birthdays. And Cotton Row was a perfect choice. From the moment we entered the restaurant until we said our 'good-night', we were treated like old friends.
Our server was knowledgeable and patient. And the rest of the staff really...know their stuff; attentive and helpful, but not in the way.
Too start, we had the Southern Seafood Chowder (x 2) and the Artisanal Charcuterie and Cheese Board. All of which was delicious and further whetted our appetites for our entrees...
The Seared Cape Cod Sea Scallops, the Scottish Salmon (x 2), and the Alaskan Halibut are mouthwatering!!!
We were very pleased.
And when we had finished our meal, our patient server did us a favor by taking a family photo.
Cotton Row is the ideal family celebration.More
Fine dining at its best. I started my gourmet meal with an appetizer of Cornmeal Crusted Appalachian Oysters. Delicious. Then on to my entrée of Dashi Braised Halibut, which I paired with a glass of chardonnay. Excellent. Memorable feast.
We’ve never had a bad experience at Cotton Row. The food and service are always excellent and the atmosphere is relaxing and just right. Enjoyed our time with friends for dinner and the food and service were the perfect compliment. Thanks for continuing to deliver...the highest standard.More
With the restaurants now opening for sit down and few girls decided to have a night full of good food and lots of talk! The food was phenomenal:) We started with drinks and The Lola is such a good drink! For starters we split the...crab cake, the Maine lobster ravioli, and the cheese board. The ravioli was to die for. I got the jumbo sea scallops, they were perfectly cooked. We opted for the dessert board which featured chocolate cake, the peanut butter and jelly in phyllo, and the creme brulee. The chocolate was good very rich and heavy, the peanut butter in jelly was different but tasty, but the creme brulee I could eat all day. The custard was smooth as silk. Overall such a wonderful experience. This foodie will definitely be back!More
