Had to wait a little bit, that was no problem. (6 adults 2 children) However, once we got seated we had to wait for drinks. Biscuits??? We had to ask 3 times for them. Finally, got them with dinner which took almost an hour to get. I know it was busy but so many tables that got seated later than... More

We always eat at a Jim n Nicks when there is one around. Cheese biscuits are great. I had two meat dinner and my wife had brisket both were good. If your are going to have the two or three meat meal be very hungry because it is a lot of food. Service was fine.

I do adore their cheese "biscuits", which are more like muffins. Brisket is good, but served mixed with BBQ sauce. Chicken is also good, and a very large portion. The Morgan Co. White sauce (their version of Big Bob Gibson's) is served in a small dipping bowl, not located in a bottle on the table. Absolutely nothing to compare to... More

Everything is good here. From the cheese biscuits to the pulled pork sandwich. The brisket is also very tasty. One of my favorite things is the hand-cut fries. The portions are generous. One of our family's favorite places.

Poor Service. First time here...probably last time. Food was OK. Service was terrible! There are too many places to eat in Hoover for me to come back soon.

Eat here when I can afford the ten buck plate. Today I tired the Carolina sauce on my Texas Sammy and it was awesome! One of the best I have had. Wish I would have tried it sooner. When I can brave traffic to this side it is always worth it! Beer and Sammy 15 bucks! Plenty to eat and... More

I can always tell if a BBQ restaurant is going to be good by the way it smells outside the establishment. The smokers outside this place let me know immediately that my family and I were in for a delectable treat. The food was good for a chain restaurant. The servers were professional and offered recommendations on food selections. Overall,... More

I ordered the pulled pork plate ($14 included 2 sides) and thought it was juicy and flavorful. 3 others at my table ordered the brisket ($17 included 2 sides) - consensus was it was good, but had too much sauce on it... And there were different sauces on the table they had wanted to try. But they enjoyed it. The... More
