My first visit their and I was impressed with the food, and atmosphere. We had a group of 6 and the service was fast. The owner was there that day (Kash) and he was great, and enjoyed him visiting our table.

We choose Jubilee Joe's for variety of the food on offer and were not disappointed at all. Crawfish, gator bites, jambalaya, you name it... Do not let the size of the place and the not so spacious seating discourage you. The food is very good...More

If you love great seafood, this is the place to go. We love their royal reds and steam crab legs. You can make your own platter with a great selection of sides. We always have their seafood gumbo and jambalaya for one of our sides....More

The place is small and not very comfortable but the food is really good. My favorite hands down is the fried green tomatoes with crab meat on top. The sauce that they "decorate the plate" with is really good with the crab meat. I also...More

There are plenty good restaurants in Hoover area, but none beat the quality of the food at Jubilee Joes. The gumbo is the best, hot and spicy. Bisque is excellent with lots of crab. Oysters are ever so tasty and prepared just right. Very good...More

The food was fresh and the service was very good. It is a true Cajun seafood restaurant and not one that claims to be one. I would suggest anyone in Birmingham visit and eat at this restaurant

My husband and I love going to eat here. It is an excellent restaurant that serves quality cajun style food. The decor, food, and service are always great. We go here every few months and enjoy it each time we stop by.

Description
Back in 2004, Kash along with some classmates had decided to plan a restaurant for their senior level marketing class at UAB. Hearing their response they decided to give it a shot. They figured they would not have a hard time getting started as they had some connections with a large seafood supplier in Bayou La Batre, Louisiana. The original concept had been to have a seafood market as well as a restaurant. So naturally they started off as just a seafood market and decided to grow into the restaurant side.
