I have spent so much money here over the DECADES, but never again. I told my grandson to enjoy his cookie because it will be the last one from this place. Oddly it was so hard he could hardly bite into it. Funky tasty roast beef, poor quality of sandwiches, cake orders being screwed up, and tasteless cookies. Too many... More

Coming into town for a surprise birthday party for my son and trying to figure out which bakery to order a cake from. I googled and settled in Savages based upon their website and the beautiful decorations and reviews that I saw. His favorite is a red velvet but I didn't want a traditional round red velvet with the crumbs... More

Stopped in for sweet treats for my daughter and I. After asking a few simple questions , I realized that their employees could care less about customer service . Even though the cookies were great , I will not be back due to the customer service .

Every time we come through Homewood we stop at Savages and it never disappoints. Savages is a wonderful bakery with a very friendly staff, decent prices , and wonderful treats. The Turkish macaroons are amazing as well is there gingerbread.

The lady at the deli looked like I was inconveniencing her by ordering a sandwich. And, the sandwich itself was a sad little runty thing: a few pieces of turkey on not-quite-stale bread. My local friends tell me that Savage's is great for sweets and cookies and so forth. That may be true. For deli sandwiches: look elsewhere.

My wife says Savages has been around since she was a kid and was excellent even back then. Great cakes, very tasty. The strawberry cake is really good

Came in after a terrible lunch at nearby Johnny's. The service was excellent the employees were so nice and helpful. They all had smiles and seemed happy to be there. There isn't anything thats bad here. I personally love the turtle cake bombs. They have seating for you to stay if you want to enjoy your treats there!

Their cakes are so good and so beautiful. I also think their cookies are wonderful, and my kids have always especially loved their smiley face cookies.

Always get the white cake with white icing every chance I get it is the best I have ever had. The orange rolls are also very good along with the cup cakes and cookies. The sandwiches are also very good.
