Came here for lunch. It was standing room only, but there is seating outside. Food was very good and service was just as friendly. Lots of food, didn't leave feeling hungry. BBQ sauces were great and the White BBQ was unique and awesome. Ribs were some of the best I've had.

If you love really smoky flavored BBQ this is the spot for it. Their sauce is sweet and tangy. I've eaten the pulled pork as well as the smoked chicken and both are excellent! Can't go wrong here!

This little hole in the wall is very quaint and in a lovely area of Birmingham. The staff is welcoming and it is crowded with regulars. Being from Memphis, we enjoy trying different cities take on BBQ and while it wasn't our favorite due to being vinegary kinda like North Carolina BBQ - the crowds and steady stream of customers... Walk into this hole in the wall joint and you are transported to barbecue heaven. The smells of smoke welcome you like an old friend. The sampler that I had gave me a chance to try it all. The pulled pork was moist and juicy. The sauce, while a little thin, was spicy with just a hint of sweet. The... More

Average at best , not very clean , no seating or parking , invisible ribs and a watery sauce on the pulled bbq. Pricey .Follow the yuppie herd here but get real bbq elsewhere .

Small crowded place with very minimal seating. The pulled pork was technically pulled, more like big chunks. I had to separate with a fork and reapply to the bun. The BBQ sauce is nothing to brag about. The potato salad tasted sour. Very disappointed as we heard good things about Saws and we love BBQ.

We're from the north so we don't get to try a lot of southern bbq but this was delicious. The family had ribs, chicken, pulled pork sandwich, and a Carolina dog. All were really good. I'm more a fan of baby back ribs but these were the best spare ribs I've ever had. The sauce is tangy and excellent. However,... More

I love good bbq and passing this place, the whole block smells wonderful. Unfortunately, that is where the pleasure ends. The pork that I got had NO flavor and the sauce tasted like I was drinking straight out of a vinegar bottle. I have no idea why people eat here!

This is the real deal and well worth standing in line in 90 degree heat for lunch. This place is small with a great old-school vibe. Service is quick and efficient. Paper plates, blackboard menu, local graffiti and paraphernalia on the walls. We loved the super tender/smoky pulled pork as always, but the pulled chicken with white BBQ sauce was... More

Counter service, disposable plates this place has got some of the best BBQ. We ordered the sampler and the BBQ potato. Both were large portions and we took plenty home.
