Best Restaurant in Orange Beach area! We had the Lamb Chops, Filet and Grouper and everything was prepared to perfection! The wines were excellent and I am finicky! Do not miss this great place!

We looked for something a little more than Lulu's and the associated restaurants in Gulf Shores that focus on fried fish and oysters and such. The Sunset cork room was rated as the #2 restaurant in Gulf shores so our expectations were elevated. Ultimately it...was fine. No real issues. Not fine dining by any stretch, but decent pub food. We dine here every time we come to Gulf Shores and are never disappointed. This time we had three excellent entrées and three delicious appetizers. We started with the calamari (tender, lightly breaded and fried/seasoned perfectly), the grilled shrimp and the quiche (absolutely delicious with...extraordinary Mornay sauce!) and loved them all. Then we moved to the scallops (how do they brown them so perfectly? Why is the orange sauce so delicious?), the salmon (again cooked to perfection with a perfectly paired and executed sauce) and the lamb lollipops. All delicious but that lamb is just absolutely special. The perfect sear while still being exactly medium rare. Completely tender, juicy and flavorful. If you don’t think you like lamb - try these because I bet they will change your mind! Oh! I also highly recommend the beet and arugula salad - the sweet/salty/tangy flavors are so nicely balanced it is simply delicious!More

We just discovered this nice place. We were so excited to get a reservation ( call ahead a few weeks). It was a perfect evening. The food was prepared perfectly! My husband ordered the grouper and I had the filet. Both out of this world...delicious! And to top it off with a great bottle of wine and dessert. We got to meet Nina, one of the owners as well. Do yourself a favor, get a reservation and enjoy this nice place!More

Our party of four adults and one child, ordered across the menu, chicken, lamb, pasta and fish, all were excellent, as well as the recommended desert bread pudding. Atmosphere, and services was great!

We were a party of 7 and this can sometimes be a burden on a server, the kitchen and the guest. Our service and meal was amazing. I am sorry I don't have our servers name but she was friendly, gave great suggestions and patient...as we asked questions and made our decisions. Extensive wine list and high quality wines. We had the Mahi, Shrimp Fra Diavalo, Steak, and an assortment of appetizers. Everything was cooked to perfection and came out at the same time! We actually got to meet the chef, Tina. When everything is done to a level of excellence, the review tends to be short. To receive fully professional treatment in a timely matter is one thing but the quality of the food and drinks were over the top. A perfect balance between service and...quality. What their chefs can do with a steak is amazing. Great job done by all.More

We have tried numerous spots on the beach for seafood. All are good. But this spot, a few blocks in town, was two tiers above the others. Lamb lollipops were done just right. The grouper was seasoned perfect. Risotto and chowder were excellent first courses....Staff was relaxed and very capable.More

My husband and I ate here for his birthday and I was blown away. The service was perfect and friendly and kind. The tortellini was one of the best things I have ever eaten, and my husband loved his ribeye. The live music was also...really nice.More

My wife and I had dinner last night at Sunset Cork. The shrimp appetizer was amazing! My wife ordered the Ribeye and it was incredible. I had blackened redfish and asked that it be prepared “easy on the spices,” it came out perfect. All food...is prepared to order and quality is #1 focus. Excellent Sherry Glazed Grouper with almonds and apricots. My wife and I had this with sautéed spinach, side salad and a tiramisu dessert. Two bottles of fine French wine served by excellent server Kylee. Highly recommend this place!

We had a family group of all ages and all enjoyed the selection of food choices. There was something for everyone's taste. Food was prepared as requested and the server took care of us well.
