Greasy spoon. It had a 4.5 rating so we thought we would be able to get some good fish. They had no grouper, no mahi-mahi , no salmon, no swordfish. Most of the appetizers are deep-fried and greasy. Even the drink taste funny. I wanted...some thing grilled but that’s not what you get here My sister had fried oysters on a salad and liked the salad but didn’t like that oysters which were again fried and oily. My husband liked his grilled scallops and shrimp on a skewer If you’re into healthy, don’t botherMore

Kim K took care of us today. We went early, per some reviews I have read, and were not disappointed. I had the grilled whitefish, and my husband had the fried craw fish. Not too long of a wait. The waitress was very attentive to...my dietary needs and patient. It was much appreciated after driving all day to get to Gulf Shores.More

My wife and I read the rave reviews of Bahama Bob’s and wanted to try the best places in Gulf Shores, so headed to Bahama Bob’s with the understanding there would be a long wait due to the popularity of the place. When we arrived,...we were lucky to find the last parking place in the lot. Our wait was about 25 minutes, but the day was beautiful, so we bought a drink while waiting and the time went fast. I ordered the catch of the day, which was trigger fish - a totally new experience for me. The fish was delicious! The side was green beans and potatoes. The beans were way over cooked. The portion size of the fish was average - not huge. My wife had the royal red shrimp, which she regretted. The prices were high. Too high for what we got, and we really don’t understand why this place is so popular. We found better food elsewhere for much less expense and shorter waits. However, I do need to say our server was outstanding.More

Bahama Bobs, for us, has been the best restaurant in Gulf Shores, for years. The crab is better than any other I’ve ever had elsewhere, and the service and quality is always top notch. Won’t visit Gulf Shores without going here at least once. It...is pretty pricey(the crab), but they never let me down.More

We ate here on our vacation to Gulf Shores and it was Amazing! Our server, Shannon, was wonderful, very outgoing, knowledgeable about the food, and he gave us great recommendations! The blacked Trigger fish, crab legs, burger, coconut shrimp, and chicken were all great! I...would definitely recommend this place to anyone who visits Gulf Shores!!More

The fresh catch was snapper & hubby had it grilled...it was delicious. I had the shrimp & scallops & the scallops were over cooked but the shrimp was really good. Best cocktail sauce in gulf shores I’m pretty sure! My only gripe was my son...had a hair in his salad. That’s a huge turnoff for me but the food was so good, I would give them another try.More

We went to Gulf Shores for a little mental health break and found this place up the beach about a mile from our condo. The food was really great, the service was fast and friendly, and we ended up going back twice during our visit....Highly recommend trying!More

Food was awesome as usual. Kevin was our server and he was friendly, fun and attentive - we lacked for nothing. Tried the alligator bites as an appetizer - fried but hot and lightly breaded, loved the chili dipping sauce. Crab Legs were very pricey...but cooked perfectly. Several of us got the Ruby Reds which are local, heads on but very delicious. Also had the grilled scallop skewer, with a touch of cajun seasoning. The bucket drinks are fun - the Blueberry Bay Breeze was extra goods. The sides were red potatoes (nothing special) and green beans (good). We waited about 45 minutes at 5:00 on a Monday for a party of 6, obviously we don't mind because we come here every time we come to Gulf Shores.More

Visited while in Gulf Shores a couple weeks ago. As per my title, the pecan-encrusted fried flounder was to die for! The portions were very substantial and our server a sweet southern belle:) My husband had the grilled shrimp which were huge and fabulous, too....The place is very laid back and many of the patrons local. We will definitely return!!More
