This is normally one of our favorite restaurants. We have a second home down in Gulf Shores and are regulars here. We were down here cleaning up from Hurricane Sally and went to have dinner. I was quite upset at the way the restaurant was...handling Covid. Or rather not handling it. from the look of it there, it did not exist. There were no signs anywhere about wearing a mask. Now Alabama has a state mask mandate in place. none of the customers were wearing a mask, groups of people were congregated at the hostess stand- no mask. The kicker for me was when I saw 3!!!! waitresses walk by with food and not a single one had on a mask. We turned around and left and most likely will never be back. This is obviously a management problem and makes me question what is going on in the kitchen as well. Shameful.More

The chips and salsa we fantastic. My wife got shrimp tacos and I ordered a quesadilla and both were super good. The Margaritas were just OK. The mix was good but the alcohol was minimal or even none existent.

We all came in and there were two ladies working on sep. 11th that were so rude. As soon as we walked in, the brunette lady cleaning tables acted like she hated us. She was unresponsive, unhelpful, and let us just stand there and didn’t...help seat us for 5 minutes. However we were still very kind! The waitress serving us , Morgan H. acted like the last thing she wanted was for us to be in their restaurant. I have been here once before, and we received horrible service that time also. With The service we received today, they were angry, verbally rude, unhelpful and unkind. This now a very bad experience I have had at this restaurant twice.More

I have been here a couple times on vacation. Each time, we receive great food, but horrible customer service with angry servers. We have always been extremely kind to the serves, but they act like they hate everything. At least the food is good. Crazy...expensive though.More

Excellent Mexican dinner! Great chips and salsa. Husband and I both had the California Burrito. He had black bean and hot and I had pinto bean and mild. Burrito was huge. ($13) which we though was a bit pricey but after eating thought it was...appropriately priced. Atmosphere is average and offer a screened area patio. We sat inside because it was very hot outside the day we visited. Restaurant staff did pretty well with mask compliance except you can walk through patio area to get to main part of restaurant. Probably should close that off. One or two waiters wearing mask under nose. Also noticed that many people entering were not wearing masks or trying to keep 6’ distance. It’s an easy thing to do people! Not trying to be the mask police or anything...Husband and I aren’t overtly freaked out about the virus but I do think compliance is pretty easy even if it does feel awkward.More

Went to this place on vacation, actually went there because all the trendy places were packed. The beef Burrito was great, the chips and salsa was not good - hardly edible. The service was not good as our waiter spend most of the time chatting...up tourists. I would probably go back just for the Burrito.More

Food was nothing to want to come back to. We eat Mexican food all the time and this is NOT Mexican food. To top it off their service is horrible. Asked for NO Cheese on an item for my son who is allergic to cheese...and they smothered it in melted cheese. No apologies offered and only option given is to come back and get another...I will never be going back to this horrible place!More
