Just average fried seafood. Grabbed a crawfish po boy, nothing really life changing . Mainly stopped in because other restaurants were closing. The bread on the po boy was fresh and the best part of the meal.
My family of 3 ate here on 8/6/21 and the food was super tasty! We dined outside which had a very pretty view. Before being sat, there was a wait for about 40 minutes, but it went by super fast. We ordered the Fried Mozzarella...for our appetizer and they were super delicious! (They have honey mustard, just ask if you want it). For the meal, I ordered the blackened shrimp meal with a side of french fries and it was super good. Fries tasted crispy! My boyfriend ordered the Cajun Nachos and it comes with a LOT of everything so definitely share it with someone! They were super good too. The salsa was also really good (coming from someone who works at a Mexican Grill). Overall great food and location. Service was okay but the food was the highlight!More
I would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the hostess that had the personality of a stuffed teddy bear. We got there she told us that the wait was an hour. We said sure. Went outside to sit because even though empty tables...on patio and inside she said we had to go outside. Ok that’s fine…. I came back in after getting wife and kids situated and came in to ask if we could get some drinks from bar…. She said yes that’s fine. I order water for kids and me and a hurricane for my wife. When going outside she tells me they aren’t allowed outside….. but we can’t sit inside…. Then why did you tell me we could get a drink…. After we got our table the experience was incredible food great, waitress was sweet and great, and the food was awesome. I highly recommend seafood nachos! Perfect flavor and the drinks were great. And blackened shrimp was incredible. We will definitely be back.More
I feel bad for the servers at The Pink Pony Pub. They seem to take the brunt of disgruntled customers, when it really is the kitchen and bar that are EXTREMELY SLOW. It took one 30 mins to get two beers and three mixed drinks...for the small group I was with.
I am unsure what the draw of the place is. AMore
We went to the Pink Pony Pub on a recommendation from a set of friends. The food was great and seemed to have a number of options on the menu. We decided to get the nachos (which were very large, more like a family appetizer)...and the fried shrimp basket: Both were good meals and left us talking about how good the food was…. Once we got it. We arrived and it was obviously busy as was expected. That wasn’t that big of a deal we set next to the beach and enjoyed the nice weather. Once we got seated it was a good hour to receive food. The place seemed to be about 60% capacity. If there is anything to comment on it was the wait, it all worked out as we are on vacation and we just try to enjoy every moment. It’s dive bar type atmosphere. Overall great food just slow service.More
We had appetizer chicken strips which were actually delicious! We ordered nachos also which were half season and half beef. They were huge so much food. It was good and we also had fried green tomatoes, they were about average. Bahama mama cocktails were great!...We will visit again!More
We visited Memorial Day weekend and the entire area was crazy busy. We got a table just as they were starting to serve lunch on a Sunday afternoon and luckily didn't have to wait (many did).
The food didn't seem to take too long given...the amount of people who had ordered in front of us, and it was good, but honestly nothing I will rave about. It was a fun environment, and a nice place to visit, but not at all a good value (lunch for 2 adults and 4 kids was $130) or anything unique. That being said, however, they were very busy. Good for them.More
I don’t know what I did to receive such rude service from the male bartender. My daughter and I sat at the bar to get lunch there and take a sandwich out to my husband on the beach. He told me they don’t have takeout...bc they can’t feed everyone on the beach. Wtf? He was rude, questioning was I sure I wanted my poboy shrimp fried and if we wanted to order that much. When he brought the food he remarked about how much food it was again. Wow...I’ve never been treated so rudely.More
Kevin was our server who had the whole deck to tend to. He was personable, friendly and attentive. He even got the deck to sing a song together! He kept the drinks coming and checked back often. Food was really good too! Stop by and...ask for Kevin!!!More
