It’s worth drive to go to this restaurant. No wait on Friday night, was sat immediately. Server was Nathan and he did a great job even though he had a lot of tables to take care of. Oyster poboy and fried food platter were awesome....Got to listen to live entertainment while we ate dinner👍. Will definitely go back.More

Sunday evening and four of us had the $16.99 buffet. The salad bar was small but good. The hot food consisted of chicken fried steak that you needed a hacksaw to cut. The chicken finger were cold but the fish fingers were hot and tasty....Peach cobbler was mostly dough with very few peaches.More

I ended up eating here multiple times despite other options due to consistently good food (both to-go & eat in) and the friendly staff! I was thrilled to find this place, look for the school bus and flags!! I can't recommend this place enough, the...Market is quite the bonus as they have to-go options of prepared food in addition to staples that your rental might not have on hand! Went in on Valentines day and they offered flowers to each tables in addition to good food! All staff are aware of needed social distancing and masks etc... for Covid but these guys are a place to feel welcome even in a pandemic and during the off season! I recommend the Fishin' Grits and both grilled and fried shrimp! Thank you again to all the staff!!!More

Absolutely one of the best dive bars/restaurants around the area! We stopped in on recommendation from our friends and whoaa! Super friendly as soon as you walk in the door! There is a large screened in porch if you prefer to sit outside, but there...was plenty of space inside-socially distanced-al help had masks on. Our waitress talked us into their Jamaican me Crazy fish bowl drink and it was the ultimate island drink for sure! We loved it! My hubby ordered the blackened fish taco and it was so big it was literally off the plate! I ordered the Shrimp Po Boy and fries and good googlies forget about picking it like a sammie! It was so stuffed with shrimp-which by the way was super fresh and NOT over breaded or over cooked! Hats off to the kitchen! Our waitress was very nice as was the bartender! The manager walked around to each table to check on how things were and we made him laugh a few times! Totally a great fam spot and prices were pretty reasonable with a good choice of items on the menu! We will be back! ♥More

Great menu selection and great food. Old building with screened in patio seating. Plays great 1960s music. Service is cool. Raw Oyster Bar. Will return as soon as possible.

We ordered dinner to go and they had it ready in 15-20 minutes. Everything we had was delicious. Crab cakes, conch fritters, fried tomatoes, aruba (grouper). Even the sides were perfectly matched to the food. Normally ordering food to go such as this is not...a good idea. But they prepared it perfectly and we sat on our balcony. It was the best food we ate one our trip. Actually, we had enough food to bring home in a cooler and eat later. The only downfall is the size of the restaurant. It’s small and can’t seat very many people. And the few people they have working are super busy trying to wait on everyone. We tried waiting for breakfast but couldn’t get in. So my recommendation is place orders to go. Definitely eat at Sassy Bass. Best food on the beach.More

The coconut chicken was so good! One of my favorite meals on vacation. Our server was wonderful in assisting us with a special diet need. The gulf view was wonderful. Fun local place to eat!

My Family and I were on vacation at the Plantation and we ate at the Sassy Bass. The food was great. Billie May was our server. She made the experience wonderful. Even with all the restrictions the restaurant had due to COVID she was always...attentive and even when our picky eating Granddaughter needed special attention she made sure that she had everything just right for her. I am a retired restaurant district and general manager of 35 yrs. I would recommend her for any service industry job. Thanks for the great time!More
