Just as we sat down to order, we heard one of the owners threatening to fire an employee. He cursed at her, using the "F-bomb" and stormed out. Within minutes, many of the other waitresses started apologizing to all of the customers about the incident. We overheard a couple of the waitresses say that this owner had threatened many of... Haven't been here is quite awhile, and I have to say, it's not what it used to be! The food was ok, but way overpriced for what we got! The waitress was nice enough expect for when I questioned why they only have bottled water...$2 for a small bottle of water...that's ridiculous! You could at least be generous enough to... More

This place is a local favorite! The strawberry salad, chicken salad, and fettuccine are my favorites. Although you just about can't go wrong with the food here! The atmosphere gets a little hectic sometimes, and it's a little pricey , but the delicious food makes it worth the hassle and the price.

this little place had excellent food---yummy lasagna, and excellent paninis---served with a generous salad bowl, there is even a nice strawberry salad, and garlic bread---$ 2 dollar cocktails, can't beat that! don't miss the gelato, excellent spumoni flavor, that is hard to find....however, no pizza on the menu? cute little tiki bar separate from the main restaurant---only downside is they... First they said they only served bottled water but failed to mention they charge $2 per bottle. Add $10 to the bill. Most of us had sandwiches or Paninis that started at $11 each. $7-8 would be more appropriate for the nothing special sandwiches we got. Food was OK but definitely NOT worth what they charged. Will never go back.

Ok, so we went here per recommendation from my tripadvisor family. It's really nice inside and the abundance of cookies, meals, gelato and desserts were beautiful. It was decently packed which shows they are a favorite. But when we were in line there was confusion as to where we should order as one employee told us to stand at one... More

I visited Gelato Joe's with some friends for the second time. All five of us where pleasantly surprised with the food. One person had the Lasagna, one had the spaghetti wth meatballs, one the Italian sandwich, and two of us had the special which was triple color tortellini. If you ever get a chance to have that, jump on it... More

Great gelato here. Two points of information: if the bill is under $10 you can only use cash or in-state check and one of the waitresses will enforce a two sample per-person ration (which isn't much considering there are 24 favors). Recommended: pumpkin spice, sea salt caramel, Italian espresso, banana dulce de leche, and Belgian dark chocolate. If you love... More

Hubby loved the homemade marinara sauce, but he found his chicken (chicken parm) a little rubbery. One in our party had chicken alfredo (huge portion!) and said it's among the best she's ever had. Her strawberry salad was attractive and fresh. My panini was delicious, but I think the paninis are a bit over priced. The fresh fruit bowl is... More
