Tired of same old flavors we are glad we chose Johns Gyros. This was a welcome change to other restaurants around here. I bet he's been here for many years but we just discovered them. The Mediterranean Platter is a very good way to experience the wide variety of what this place serves. Will visit again and again as we... More

Never had the type of food they serve and was impressed with the taste that it leaves behind in your mouth. My taste buds had me wanting another bite after another. My friend ordered the food so I could not tell you what it was we even ordered but thought the price was too high until I had the first... More

We stopped in for lunch this afternoon and I have very mixed reviews. No greeting, told menu was up on the wall to the side. Ordered two Gryos and two glasses of water. Thought the total seems a little high and when asked I was handed a receipt from the register. We were charged $1.00 for two glasses of tap... More

My wife and I were made aware of this place by a friend. We travelled up from Gulf Shores and found it easily. Walked in the door and looked up at the menu written on a chalk board. Stepped up to the counter and placed our order. When we were their so was the owner John who was doing the... More

On a recent trip to the Gulf Coast area, our family was looking for something different. We decided to try John's Gyro. It was great! They call it John's Gyro for a reason. They mostly serve gyros and have a good selection of unique combinations. We tried the grape leaves, and they were very good too. I believe that the... More

We had been to John's in previous years and wanted to return because the food is good and quickly prepared. The gyros are delicious, french fries perfectly done, wait staff/cook very friendly. Restaurant is clean but has some age which adds to its appeal.

We ordered from here in the past and took our order to go. Once home and tried our gyros...we were pleasantly surprised. They were delicious. :)

This was the first gyro I had ever eaten. The meat has a wonderful spice seasoning and a light cucumber dressing...it was very tasty. The owner and staff were very accommodating to a Southern girl who had never eaten this type food before.
