The inspiration for Jimmy Buffett's 1978 hit and a place everyone should visit at least one. VERY casual. Some clothes required. Prices are good but portion sizes are kind of small. Great environment to socialize.

Locals know that this is the best place on the water to hang out with out of town friends. Have a dog? Bring them with you because dogs are not only welcomed but encouraged.

Well, not really totally optional but a lot of folks come in their boats or from the beach area and some did not have a lot of clothing on!! Open air establishment and although it was a hot day all the fans kept you fairly comfortable. You order from the bar. Which is pretty convenient. And then they come out... More

I can't do it justice. Cheeseburger and adult milk shake on a pirate ship in the bay? Get there, enjoy the locals, and have one for me.

We found this place while boating in the bay. Several dogs live on the property and many other patrons brought dogs too. It was fun and super laid back (shoes or shirt not required). Arguably the best Bushwacker I've ever had!

We have visited this place many times over the years. It is in the "middle of nowhere," more easily accessible by boat than land. Either way, you will not be disappointed. Hurricanes over the years have changed it dramatically. Actually the last one caused major Hurricane was a blessing. The former two bathrooms were at best, 3'x 3'. In the... More

We recently stopped in at this restaurant. It has a pavilion where music was playing and then the restaurant with two bar areas. People have pulled into the sand to beach their boat and enjoy the day. Dogs are everywhere and all very behaved. Totally casual. And the best part are delicious hamburgers.

This little restaurant/bar is a very unique favorite for locals, pet-owners, spring breakers, fishermen, snow birds and summer vacationers!! You can't go home without a bushwacker, cheeseburger, pizza and a t-shirt!! Those are the all-time favorites that bring visitors from all over!! (not to mention the fries and hot wings) All dogs are welcome to run on the shores and... More

Went to this place thinking it would have some kind of pirate theme for the kids and some place to take them to eat. Well.....it is in the middle of nowhere. It was 35 miles from the beach where I live. This a place where people park boats on the bay beach and have an experience. There is no real... More
