I love Indian food. They do the best job in Dothan. It is priced fair and they offer a good variety of traditional favorites.

When my wife said what spice level on her food she would like the waiter said “ your toilet is going to hate you.”Brought our order backwards. Got food first, then the app, then finally 30 mins later our drink. Unfortunately a terrible experience.
Restaurant was clean. Food was excellent but we were handed our receipt 3 minutes after getting our food and wasn't asked if we wanted dessert or something else. Was disappointed in the customer service that we received. We felt like we were being rushed.
Had the curried goat. VERY tasty! You can order the food's "heat" value or hotness to match one's taste. I had it at a 3...which was just about right for me. Very good service and such. Will come back!
Great food and James is a wonderful server but they charge you 49 cents for water as well. Last time I drive 45 minutes to eat here. Great family lunch, almost $120.00 and they charge for water. So long TAJ
We went for the lunch special today. It was good, but it was a surprise to see the price doubled. This was not reflected on the menu. We still got the lunch portion size, not the dinner portion which normally costs double the lunch portion....In addition we were charged for our teas, which used to be included for the lunch special. It is very good food, but they need to change the menu to reflect the new prices. Doubling the price and not including the drinks is a big difference.More
My husband and I ate here for lunch. I have had more Indian food than he has, but both of us are rookies, overall. Our server, Jennifer, did a great job of explaining the ingredient combinations, spice levels, and made suggestions of dishes that went...well together and how many dishes we should order. There was a lunch special for only $9.99 that allowed diners to try mini-portions of three entrees and the naan. We actually decided not to do that, but might try it next time. In the end, we ordered Chicken Tikka Masala (because I already knew that I love that) and the lamb gyro kebab (which is a platter of meat and sauteed veggies) and plain naan. It came with rice, too. We loved every single thing! The flavors burst off the plate with every dish!! They allow you to select how spicy you want your food. We opted for level 2 (very mild) and she brought separate containers of spice & spicy paste for my husband to add to his because he likes his food hotter than I do. THEN, she helped him figure out, based on how much extra spice he added, what heat level that is, so he could order accurately next time, The only areas for improvement would be the decor/atmosphere, which wasn't as colorful as I would have expected. The drapes were a beautiful fabric but the rest of the space was gray. Indian/South Asian clothing (sarongs) are known for their beautiful colors, so I was expecting to see a little of that in the room. Ordering the way we did was pricey. We spent $36 not including gratuity. But, as I said, there is a bargain lunch special available (even on Saturdays). We can't wait to go back and be more adventurous!More
We loved the food. The lounge was very comfortable. They had a great wine selection. They also have some unique margaritas I would like to try. They have an outdoor patio that looks inviting. The waitress was very busy, yet managed to take care of...everyone. She had a great attitude.More
Very nice overall place. Service was good. They helped me select dishes since I am not an expert on Indian food. Each thing I had tasted wonderful and a good presentation as well.
The atmosphere is cozy. We ordered the onion salad and Naan bread for starters. The Naan was excellent, so we put another order in to have with our meal. The meal came but no bread. We were in the back, alone. No one in sight....We started hollering for assistance about when we were half done. When we ask the waitress for our bread she said its not my fault and went to the kitchen where they toasted the bread and she bought it out as we were finishing. She left the bill on the table and we passed her as she was leaving, and we we're searching for someone to pay. At the front I saw a sign for desserts. I ask what the one in the middle was as I thought I might take it back to our hotel. She said a few days prior they had a wedding and it was left over from that. She said she had never had it before and didn't know what was in it. I ask her if that was right, 6.99 for left over dessert from a wedding, she just shrugged her shoulders. The meal tasted good, but I'm not likely to return.More
Honestly, I've had better Indian food, but for the location and the COVID situation with limited menus , this place was pretty darn good. I was surprised when they asked how hot we wanted the food (I've never been asked that before), and, of course,...not knowing what *their* level of spicy was, we went middle of the road light. (Just to let you know, their "5" isn't as spicy as a Taco Bell Chicken Quesadilla.) We had the rack of lamb and the Tikka Masala, both were excellent, and the Naan was good, too. Their "Greek" menu is very limited right now. Service was friendly and I only had to wave someone down for more water once. The restaurant side shows they are working hard to maintain social distancing,More
Affordable price with variety of food. It is a unique combination of Indian Cuisine and Indian heritage. It brings you a variety of dishes from different regions of India and their menu contains both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.
I came with a friend to dine here who said this was like Indian with curries. It was Thursday evening and service was slow. I didn't order tea since most Indian restaurants serve water to drink, I heard from my friend that the tea was...good however. So many selections, it was hard to make a decision without a lot of thought. I ordered a large meal, a Kebab of some kind with lots of combinations and had to choose how spicy we wanted it but we got something looking different than described in the menu with sheep or goat, some kind of sausage, a few shrimp, chicken pieces, vegetables on rice. We were given large plates so I immediately plated the rice and everything else on the plate My friend didn't plat all his but complained they took away his plate of rice although it had food on it still instead of waiting until the end of the meal in case he wanted to eat it. He was also unhappy that the extra bread I ordered did not come when the meal arrived but he raved about how good it was when we finally got it. This dish was filled with flavor, wasn't too spicy but had some sauce to go with it. It was generously filling to me but my friend could not eat his all like I could although he enjoyed it. It was costly for the meal but he said lunch was a lot more reasonable, that he and his caretaker can eat close to $20. for both of them. This food seems to infuse different ethnic groups, from India, Lebanese, Pakistani, Mediterranian. I enjoyed something different from what I normally get while eating here.More
The food and service are subpar and the grounds are in disrepair. Waitress seemed to care less about our desires or needs.
We absolutely loved this place. Food was delicious and served hot. Service was also excellent. They took care of us.
