Had a wonderful Alfredo type pasta with chicken, bacon and mushrooms. This food was amazingly good! The menu had a good selection of food.

In town for business, first trip to Dothan. Went for lunch and had the chicken salad sandwich with corn chowder. The sandwich was outstanding. Obviously they make their own chicken salad but make the buns in house as well. That was a pleasant surprise. The corn chowder was good but not outstanding. At the urging of the waitress, finished the... More

We discovered this place years ago on our trips to the beach from Atlanta and now always try to stop. Good sandwiches and healthier offerings. Everything is good.

I tried to talk to the owner about setting up a tasting for my wedding. He was very rude and was talking down to me. I don't think it is uncommon for caterers to set up tastings for potential customers. I also understand that it is a resturant but the catering menu is quite different from what they serve in... I love going to the Basketcase. The staff is so friendly and the chef is awesome. I love the pastas and the soups. I have never had a bad meal there.

We went back for lunch to give them another try since it is a local place owned by local people. The food was nasty, I mean nasty! The bread tasted stale, the meat on my sandwich was slimmy! The salad was brown, I could go on but I won't except to say that our server was rude and inattentive, We... More

For trusted & true, you can always count on The Basketcase. My favorite dish is their Alfredo pasta with chicken, mushrooms & bacon. Served with a sourdough roll, it is always more than I can eat; but I still can't resist ordering a poppyseed muffin that I finish my meal with! AND they use crushed ice with their tea, I... More

We had a Christmas party at the Basketcase. This may well be the worst food I have ever had in a restaurant. The steak strips were dry and rubbery. The chicken strips were mushy. The cowboy beans tasted like they were swept up off the floor. The only saving grace was that the coffee and dessert were decent. I was... More

We found this cafe on TripAdvisor and decided to try it and we were very pleased. It is a popular local restaurant open only for Breakfast and Lunch. I had the special which was Toasted Ravioli in homemade marinara. It was great. My husband had the BBQ sandwich which was just OK, but the potato salad was excellent he reports.... More
