Great wraps and sandwiches! Very cool atmosphere. Only complaint was the side of fries is a $3 up charge and it’s super small.

Sandwich shop located inside a old brick historic building. Neat decor. Order was taken promptly at walk-up counter. Sandwich was ready in about 10 minutes. Good taste, decent size. Would recommend!

B. E. S. T. Sandwiches ever! Seriously please go. The restaurant is so eclectic, located in an old mercantile and has very unique menu. They don’t cut you short on their meats. Each sandwich was piled high! Husband had the Muffaletta and I had the...Rumor. Go! Like NOW 😀More

I have eaten at Rumor's a number of times. I recommend the Mouth of the South. This sandwich is delicious and has a variety of different meats and other ingredients that taste great together. They serve steamed sandwiches here as well as panini grilled sandwiches....The atmosphere is nice with somewhat of an eclectic décor. I've seen some reviews here that say the sandwich prices are higher than other chain sandwich shops but I have tried just about all of the chain shops and all I can say is you get what you pay for. To me the prices are on par with the quality of the food. It would be refreshing to see the staff smile and appear to really engage with the customers here but that is hard to find in any restaurant now days. All in all I would definitely recommend Rumors if you are in the mood for a good homemade deli type sandwich.More

My family and I decided to try this place (recommended by a friend) for lunch one day last week and we were treated so horribly. I'm not sure what kind of business you're running but it's definitely not a good one!! The girl (skinny, blonde,...couldn't even get a smile or greeting from her) said she would go in the back to get the manager for me to talk to, came back out and said she wasn't there, which I know is a lie because I saw her myself!! Later another girl (brunette, short) came to the counter and asked us if she could assist us and she treated us much better than the first one. Offered us a dessert, checked on our food, AND brought it out to us.More

Was here visiting my uncle and we asked for a good local place. We were very impressed with the place! Quick service, nice open atmosphere. I ordered the Cuban (delicious) my wife ordered a ham sandwich. I am assuming all sandwiches are hot? The size...of the sandwiches were good size! I also saw paninis as well. If you are looking for a good, hot deli sandwich, this is your place!More

This sandwich shop came highly recommend to us from a local resident. The food was fantastic, but the young lady taking orders at the front counter was clearly not interested in being there and was borderline rude. I'm still willing to give it another try...on our next trip.More

Traveling on I-65 and looking for a quick place for lunch. It is easy to get to from the interstate. There is a lot of seating and it’s a cool old building. The kids working there were not particularly friendly - not rude - but...not friendly. They really just acted bored. They take your order at the register and then call your name when it’s ready. I had grilled cheese and bowl of loaded potato soup and my husband had the ham sandwich with a cup of the same soup. We shared a brownie and both had bottles of water. It was ok. I do not think it was worth the $25 we paid for it.More

I have never been to any restaurant that makes you pay for water. I got the Reuben and it had zero flavor and no thousand dressing! I skippped the side item since they charged me 1.39 for water. I will not be back, way too...pricey for what you get, the sides my friends paid for were in a thimble sized cup and my Reuben barely had any meat on it, skip this dump!More

I'm sorry you were disappointed in your meal and paying for water. Many establishments charge for water mainly due to the fact that customers feel safer having bottled water instead of out of a tap. This building is 116 years old and the lines, while...More
