This restaurant is one of the best in town for Bengali food. Every item seems carefully prepared ensuring that traditional tastes are maintained.

Ate chicken dak bungalow from Bhojohori with home made phulkas; delicious. Finished it off with nolen gur ice cream (ethereal in this Kolkata heat). I love the egg that makes itself comfortable with it's chicken neighbors, in the red 'jhol'.

A good restaurant. Pure Bengali restaurant. The quality of food is very good. However, the quantity of food served is poor.

Good food & services but little expansive compared to similar restaurants in Kolkata. Vegetarian dishes are excellent.

This is one of the best restaurants in the city for Bengali food. The classic luchi and kosha mangsho is excellent as are the fish options. A must visit for any visitor to the city.

Not sure. In reality, there is limited use of garlic in Bengali cuisine.

Prices vary but $30 for a meal for 2 sounds about right. Delicious stuff.
