Supposed to provide the best coffee and small eats. The reality is far from it. Chicken kabiraji was not worth the money. Coffee was insipid. Don't go unless absolutely necessary.

Visit to the age old Indian Coffee House of College Street (presently Bankim Chatterjee Street ") is always nostalgic, more for the ambience than just for the food. I always enjoy the old classic ambience of College Street Coffee House.

I spent three years of my graduation in this area and coffee house was our regular hanging spot, not because it is a cheap eat but it has historic value. It has been a popular "adda" spot for intellectuals, film personalities, movie critics, professors and off course students. Often sitting here one can be part of a movie shooting as... More

I visited this place with my clients who wanted to see the city of Joy from eyes of a Bong. ICH is a place with a long history. Considering the modern trends and palette it might not be a very good choice for visitors but I would recommend it to people with love for the forgotten. I am a history... More

But the attitude of cashier and waiters its the rudest i experienced ever. If you go for Veg Sandwich you will get 4 slice of Bread with Butter 2 with... More

A must visit place in Kolkata for its old world charm. This place has not changed for decades. More than food, one goes there to talk. You hear peoples voice than music. Best place to take a break in college street. Best time to visit is at early morning hours on a holiday, when the city is still late to... More

Brilliant place to visit. It still has that aura of rebelliousness which characterised it for so many years. Find a seat where you can, sharing with whoever, drinking dark, muddy, delicious coffee and listening to the buzz. I loved this place.

This is one nostalgic & oldest restaurants in Kolkata. Many famous writers & personalities have spent their time here, developing their skills, reading, writing. I love the cold coffee here.
