Really good food, in your budget. They are nice people who serve great food. Its very difficult to say which one is the best dish, as I loved all of them. Kunga is a favorite for the foreigners. That's because the food served is not only good, the portions are large and the price is comparatively cheap. And on top... More

If you want to get authentic Tibetan food in Darjeeling, the place is here. The quality of the food is really tasty, must try momo... You must go before 7:30 pm, after that the restaurant is closed, and almost the food comes to it end.

You will miss the place if you're not looking for it. But you know its great food by the swarms of Tibetans frequenting this place. It's a tiny, friendly, intimate family run joint and they will happily chat with you in between serving customers. Brilliant food. Must visit for foodies

One of the best places for Tibetan and Chinese food. It's a small and cozy restaurant but the food is tasty and served hot. Great place for lunch and dinner. As I liked the food, I came here multiple times. Tried Chicken Momo, Chicken Thukpa, Chicken Chow, Veg Fried Momo and Hot Chocolate. Apart from Hot Chocolate all other items... More

If you are looking for local food and cuisine then this is the place. Really small diner and you might have to share your table with fellow travelers. Try to be there before 7:30 pm cos by then the food is over and they shut shop. Food is tasty and decently priced, not too sure about the hygiene part. Overall... More

Visited the restaurant at lunchtime. Small seating area .Started with pork momo.soft succulent and yummy with thin outer cover. Delicious . Didn't like the chicken noodles soup much.Just average .liked the huge fried momo .The filling was yummy. An excellent joint .will definitely visit when ever I visit Darjeeling.

During our one week trip in Darjeeling, we had the pleasure of eating at Kunga's twice. Both times, the food was exceptional. I would gladly recommend this place to anyone! The bhagthuk soup is delicious and so satisfying, and the Tibetan bread is perfect with it! The spring roll with watercress is really lovely! Five stars for sure!

Everything we had at this place was good, but the homemade noodles stole the show. We will definitely be going back here.

A nice little cosy outlet which is always busy and located right on center of Darjeeling. It's my second visit after 3 years and really enjoyed the food here. We ordered some momo, thukpa, beef curry, mango shakes etc and everything was perfect. Their shakes and juices are really great. We loved the momos too. Quantity is too good for... More
