Great find right here, tried it out as other places were packed. This place offers fantastic Tibetan food. Home made flat noodles in veg broth was so nice, I could live off that dish. Also very fair price range for a hotel restaurant.

This is a small but cute restaurant where you can get tasty momos. Near the chowrasta all other momo shops were small road side shops which were not clean. This is a place where you can again and again have all local specials at cheap price and in a neat atmosphere. This has limited seats. Do not miss this if... More

The first good thing of the place is the atmosphere. It has a lot of warm light over the long tables that contrasts with the cold outside. The food is very tasty although you'll find the same variety in many other restaurants at a cheaper price. I tried the thukpa. It was very good. On the contrary, the coffee custard... More

The food at Dekevas was a welcoming change to the Indian norm. While we are big fans of curries and tandoori, the freshness of the thukpas and momos were a wonderful treat packed full of flavour, especially with the tray of dipping sauces offered. The prices were cheap for the quantity and when compliments were presented to the chef, I... More

Dekevas restaurant is on the street level, under the Lunar Hotel. It offers basic Tibetan food, with decent taste and preparation. I left hoping I wouldn't get sick. The decor is minimal and tossed together. It would be a quiet place but there was a loud German lady talking with a table-mate about all of her travels. The guys who... More

I went to this restaurant by chance only as it is next to the much claimed Kunga Restaurant where I could not go as it was full/closed as per the owners. Dekevas is a small eatery run by a Tibetan guy. I had Chinese food for lunch which was very tasty. Prices are reasonable, large portions. Staff is good. Place... More
