Being a vegetarian I find it hard to get good food in Chennai. Somehow the choices have reduced in the recent past. But this place has pretty good veg spread. The moo moos, soups, the noodles are all awesome. Been there few times and impressed every time actually.

Good Chinese and nice ambiance. Value for money. Soups and starters are too good. Once can quite often go there.

I had been to the Nungambakkam Hotel Aruna Mainland China. A wonderful setting with good space in between tables for privacy. The beats part are the Momos and the soup here. Just awesome. Plus beverages are served here which adds to the plus of this restaurant. I guess we have to make advance reservation in the weekend as even on... More

The first thing that strikes you when you enter Mainland China in Teynampet is the three Terracota warriors at the entrance. The decor was quite good and so was the layout and style of serving on a moving table, just as one would find in China. We ordered soup and dimsums for starters. The dimsums were cooked well, but the... More

I had brought a group of visiting students here for dinner. They thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. We were a group of seven and between us we ordered a wide range of appetizers including dimsums, main courses, rice, noodles, drinks, and desserts so everyone got to try all the different dishes. It was all very good. Nice ambience too.... More

I have been to Mainland China, Cenotaph branch quite a few times due to its vicinity to my workplace. Being in sales, hosting lunch and dinner is a common affair. One place to confidently visit along with guests is the Mainland China restaurant. It has a large space, buffet option (depending on time criticality) and excellent ambience. The mocktail options...
