Good variety of meals for breakfast spread. Ajay who was managing our table was really helpful and prompt and ensured we had meals suitable for our babies. Decent deal for the price offered.

The breakfast and the evening buffet spread is good and sumptuous..Very much recommended if you're staying at the hotel
SPICE IT in IBIS CHENNAI SIPCOT is one of the finest dinning and hotel experience one will ever get. The property is situated on mahabalipuram Rd behind the NOVOTEL hotel and also hold for hotels and restaurant bookings as well. The interiors are jaw dropping...and breath taking. The concept of quintessential lightning and mesmerizing kitchen and the soothing music was tantalizing, While entering straight away into the reception hall one can find book shelf with few books and cubical shapes structures placed which looks charismatic and pleasing, Just next to the right there was a copper pot with tap and copper glasses as well, As they have not added water into it, just to show off to the guests that the use of old traditions which our parents and our ancestors used in their good olden days which also holds same benefits of using copper utensils in home was written on side which was also as health aspects SPICE it wants to takecare of as well. The concept was astounding. As while taking a tour of the kitchen and the sitting area, tables were decorated with small pots of greenery and mint as well, The copper chai kettles with some kind of herbs grown in it was also mesmerizing indeed and the good old painted cycle was also in the show case to give it a good look holding crockeries and wine glass as well The kitchen was flawlessly clean and not a pinch of stain can be seen, and the cooking procedure was superb which their chefs are well known of Now we come to food section We were being served by Tibetan thupka soup Phula soft tacos with peri peri soya Aubergine and feta salad Fresh lemonade Parle G cheese cake Chur chur naaan with bhoondi raita and dal makhni Mango shots Tandoori paneer tikka All the food items in terms of presentation wise were eye catching and also finger licking indeed Thumbs up to the chefs and all the staff who are working hard to give their best, I am deeply moved by the Ops Manager swapna subba ji Asst Restaurant manager Saravanan Pandian Sous chef Jayendra for their incredible and immense warm welcome and time to time for the explanation of the dishes and feedback as well. I would recommend all to book for part venues as well as they are running offers come 5 pay for 3 as wellMore
Completely bowled over by the set-up and the ambiance #SpiceIt Do wait for my pics on their food options. Though it is a upscale restaurant, prices of food items are on par with a regular restaurant which is surprising 😍 Completely bowled over by the...set-up and the ambiance #SpiceIt Though it is a upscale restaurant, prices of food items are on par with a regular restaurant which is surprising 😍 Coming to the food now. It started with Classic Tomato Basil Soup followed by Abergine and Feta Salad. Then we were served with Phulka Soft Tacos with Peri Peri Soya(you also have Chicken for non-veg), Chur Chur Paratha,Dalmakhni, Absolute Classics, Chicken Tikka Biryani, Dal Makhni, Bondi Raita, Cheese Cake. I also ordered Lemon Juice, Mocktail. Classic Tomato soup, as they say was a classic. It tasted really awesome. It had a tangy taste and I could vouch that it tasted really different compared to the ones, I had before, elsewhere. I loved Pasta which were filling and topped with Olives and Garlic Bread. The feta salad was different(in a good way). Dalmakhni Chawal is something which shouldn't be missed. Bondi raita was love. Love the Black Currant ice-cream, Gulab Jamun and Cheese Cake which were served in the end. Do not miss it!! You will love it for sure.More
A family of 5, we went there for lunch buffet. Got some beers as well. It was a nice place to sit and have some beers and good food. The picky eaters in our family had a good meal. From Chicken Briyani to side dishes...to desserts, good choices. Padhu, Sujit and Rohit were of great service. Loved the noodles brought to the table. I also went to the bar in the evening and with cricket going on, was a good place to hang out.More
One of the best place near OMR for tasty food. Lunch buffet is awesome. Friendly staff and they explained me about few dishes.
Breakfast menu was so good. Thank u so much Chef Jayendra for tasty food. I had great time with my friends at Spice it
I had very good time in spice it restaurant with my friends. A very good place to hangout with friends and family. Delicious food and friendly atmosphere and my special thanks Mr. Jayendra for yummy food and special care.
The choice of the food is good if you are a person preferring Buffets. The taste is good with lots of variety.
The food is good but there are very fewer veg options available. A la carte is expensive. Better to go with buffet option if you are staying at ibis.
Very slow service, no paper straws available, think before you order your mocktails, in room dining service is not available, breakfast buffet menu is very limited, it gets repeated too often, dosas are not that great for a hotel in south india
Just happened to stop by this restaurant while on OMR. We were in for lunch, and there was this offer for B1 G1 on Lunch buffet. The ambience is good. The spread is decent. The place looks a little cramped as it was fully occupied...on the day. Taste wise the food was okay. It was decent for the price we paid.More
Average restaurant and average service. Service staff cannot help much since the restaurant policies are not so good. People may upfront deny to provide cutlery in rooms, even if it is a regular customer. They dont expect you to complain if the food is burnt...sometimes as it is almost overcrowded at the breakfast time. Food is OK and acceptable since it is low budget hotel. The live counter chefs (specially the one from Northern part of India) is very good and friendly.More
Went there late night. Good crowd, good ambience. You can chit chat for very long time, nobody will bother you. Good service staff. We ordered a Veg Manchow Soup, had to return it as the combination of spices and ingredients were not as we expected....Then we ordered Veg Spring Rolls, this was good. Can be visited to chit chat for longer durations.More
A wide variety of choices in a clean atmosphere and reasonable prices. The service is also exceptional. In particular Daniel and Rohit are always around to help. The breakfast buffet is particularly noteworthy with Dosas made to order.
