This hotel runs in combo packs, they are quite good, and they keep changing those packs for every now and then, indeed its quite a good idea, but food wise all the same, starters are good, and we can visit this place once in a while !!

I went to Mast Kalandar in Velachery. They have good thali and combos as well. It is one of the best restaurant in Chennai for North Indian food. The prices are economical and really value for the money paid for...!

Good food, great ambiance and rapid service. Absolutely value for money. Though it is a part of a chain, yet the quality is individual and good.

I went to Mast Kalandar, Teynampet opp. S.I.E.T Collage. We had Bombay Bhel - good portion, crisp, not very gravish but a bit dry. Typical Bhel. Cost was Rs.49/- - really woth it. We had HP 3 - a Thali which had everything started off with Masala Buttermilk, 4 Phulkas, 01 Veg. Dish, Paneer Butter masala, Raitha, Tadka Dhal, Salad... More

North Indians craving for their kinda food in Chennai, love this place. They don’t have a handout menu and waiter to take orders, which is nice. They have a huge menu board right next to the counter. Combos for different types of taste buds and hunger levels are offered. Places like these should make south Indians love and crave for... More

Visited the teynampet branch with family. Tasty North Indian food and good value for money. However service was poor. Its like a self service counter almost. Should go only for food and not for experience

I visited the one in Ashok Nagar. It's a good choice for a family outing. It has decent value for money and it's a nice place to get some Punjabi-style flavour in Chennai. Definitely worth checking out at least once.

I have been to the one at Teynampet. For those people looking out for a good ambience-This is not the right place. It looks more like a food court. This place is a very good choice for people preferring take aways. Incase you have made rotis at home and you need a perfect side dish, Mast Kalandar offers you good... More

Mast Kalandar on OMR is the place to go for tasty North Indian food which does not burn a whole in your pocket. For 4 people, the cost was Rs. 500.Do not miss the Gulab Jamun - its simply brilliant and the best in town. With quick service, the menu by itself is very good and tasty, but its the Gulab... More
