Visited this place for lunch, had a wonderful experience. The food is unique, Parsi/Persian with Indian influence. Their rice dishes with veg, fish, cheese, meat options, topped with dried berries, are a house specialty. The owner, Bahman, takes his time to chat with patrons, which...More

As any typically Irani Cafe, the decore is simple, service is quick and the menu remains the same. The fried Bombay Ducks are really delicious - crispy and not oily. Salli Boti- pieces of mutton in a sweet and tangy gravy and the Berry Pulao...More

One of the oldest restaurants in Mumbai- its a living legend in itself. Much like it's owner- a 95 yr old veteran, jovial and very welcoming. Had heard a lot about this Indo-iranian joint- from travel blogs & articles to word-of-mouth. To be honest, my...More

12 to 4 pm, a tight time slot but worth the detour. Indoiranian cuisine with the berry pilau as their flagship. We tried the chicken version and the veg dhansak. Both mouth watering, a little spicy. Also tried the timeless caramel custard.
