Always wanted to Britannia as my daughter was all praise for it when she last visited it. I found it very ordinary.... overpriced and food is also so so!! They need to repair it and paint it. If you need to go to the washroom, the entry is from kitchen. So my experience with the Britannia is a big disappointment... More

Highly priced, highly overrated, impatient and rude establishment. They did not have the courtesy of even allowing me to call for a cab after paying the bill - much less wait for one. The quality of the food is not that good to justify this attitude. Never again. I could recommend better Parsee eating houses in Mumbai!

Good food, not extraordinary. Only cash payment. It's one of the most famous Parsi/ Irani food joints in Mumbai. The food definitely lived up to our expectations. The traditional dishes are just what they are meant to be... Original and unaltered. We tried the bombil fry, patra ni Machchi, mutton sali boti, kheema sali, prawns berry pulao. Of course their... This is an Institution in Mumbai. The cafe is an old Irani style cafe. Everything is old. No ambiance but a quick stop to eat the famous berry palao is worth it. The Iranian berries used are delicious. Another of my favorites is the fried Bombay Duck. Fresh and delicious. Do not leave without a taste of the Caramel Custard.

My second visit to Britannia & Co and it didn't disappoint. A stylishly dilapidated venue offering superb service and great lunchtime food. Always a pleasure.

This restaurant is run by an old man who will also be the one taking your order. This restaurant has the best Dhansak and Beri Pulao in the city.

Nice Lunch (Only open 12:00 - 4:00pm) food was nice, very busy, service was quick but the hype from Rick Stein's visit has made the expectation greater than reality.

We were treated at this Mumbai classic establishment by our niece. It was for a traditional Parsi lunch. The restaurant is always fool. It looks like the restaurant management wants to keep the tradition so that they have not bothered to repair the walls and ceilings. Our lunch consisted of Chicken cutlets, Sally Boti , Berry Pulao, and custard. The... More

Beautiful food. The menu is relatively small, but just order the pulao (and some sides if you're still hungry). Honestly this was one of the best meals I've ever eaten, every bite of that sumptuous pulao (I ordered both chicken and beef) was heaven. The service is also extremely and efficient. The nonagenarian son of the restaurant's founders still works... More
