We had a late lunch and just wanted some finger foods. This place was recommended by local and very glad we tried it. There were 7 of us and it was all delicious. It felt like we were the only foreign visitors there that night. Very reasonable for us. I am sure when you purchase these items on the street... More

This place has one of the best variety of Gujarati, Marathi, and South Indian dishes, including Daal Dhokli, Pav Bhaji, Dosas and Idlis, and the Thali Peeth, among several others. Appetizing, tasty, well-cooked, and simple - you won't regret spending evenings and dinners here trying to break out of routine home meals once in a while. Service is quick and... More

Located at tardeo, near Bhatia hospital, the place is highly OK as compared to prices. They charge for a good restaurant in the locality, but was not at all worth. Panki they serve only 2 leafs for around 200 rs was not worth.

Swati snacks located at Tardeo is very normal place with prices as high as other good restaurants in the area. The Panki is a popular item in their menu, but I dint liked it, the quantity was only 2 leafs, and cost for one plate was around 190₹. Pav bhaji was very ok.

For traditional food and street food of Mumbai and Gujarat this is the one stop solution. Extremely popular with both locals and tourists getting a place can be difficult but the extremely fast service ensures shorter waiting times. I had the panki chutney, sev puri, ponk bhel and pav bhaji, all of which were brilliant!

Swati Snacks has been around for 40 years or so now and they have perfected the art of making yummylicious Gujarati cuisine. Its one of the oldest establishments apart from the thali restaurants which serve Gujarati dishes in an A la carte format. Due to their popularity, they have fairly long waiting time, almost 30 minutes at times. The interior... More
