An amazing lunch at one of my old time favourite places in Mumbai. This quaint little cafe run by a sweet Parsi couple and the obliging chef Hubert who helps you navigate through the extensive menu , never ceases to amaze me. We had Basa...More

There is ALWAYS a Queue outside Cafe Churchill
And with good reason
Cafe Churchill serves some of the best European fare in the city
It is unpretentious; it is very tiny; it doesn't serve alcohol
What it doesn't do is - disappoint us
It’s the tourist central of the city with a liberal dose of rich history, iconic eating and drinking joints and artistic connections that have found prominent mentions in Gregory David Roberts’ Shantaram. Stroll down Colaba Causeway for kitschy street shopping bargains. Take a break at the many
laid-back legendary bars & restaurants like Cafe Mondegar or Leopold Café. The vibrant vibe of Colaba is incomplete without the buzz at Mumbai’s most iconic tourist hub, Gateway of India & The Taj Mahal Hotel on the parallel lane. Sprinkled with designer boutiques, quaint cafes with rooftop sea view, the promenade is a popular route to go to Elephanta Caves & Alibaug.
