I have visited this restaurant a number of times since my early days which is famous for paav bhaaji and many other popular Indian snacks, falooda and meals. Last month I went there after a gap of few years. Not a lot has changed and the food quality and taste retains its charm. The restaurant has open verandah sitting, a... More

With friends, we had a snack stop over on the way to watch a musical program at Dinanath Mangeshkar Hall. The service was average but when we ordered dosa, we found hair. The waiter changed the order, and we gain found another hair inthe dosa. One of the worst places to eat. Will never go there again or recommend anyone.

After a concert in Matunga, want to grab a quick bite at around midnight and Shiv Sagar comes to your mind immediately. Standard order of Dosa , idli, Pav Bhaji followed by Flooda is most satisfying and at a reasonable price. It still maintains standard.

Shiv sagar is one of the oldest udupi like restaurants in vile parle. It has seating in the open as well as an air conditioned section. The food variety includes south indian, north indian, chaat, chinese, and desserts. The pav bhaji and chole bhature are awesome. The service is very quick. The restaurant gets really crowded on weekends with a waiting... More

Let it be Pavbhaji, Chole Bhature, South Indian, Chinese or Punjabi food, whatever you order, you can expect finger licking food in an Indian Style. The place is mostly crowded so during the weekends, you'll have to wait for a table for sure. They offer so much in a good price. So must try for people who like Indian food.... More

I have visited Shiv Sagar innumerable times and I have relished various dishes over here. But pavbhaji has been the best dish here. They have also started with continental dishes. Veg crispy is also my personal favorite.

This old resturant now serves vegetarian food of not only South Indian cusine but Mexican, Chinese ,continental and of course punjabi. The resturant has both air conditioned as well as non AC dining halls. Also open veranda seating. Hence easy to get seating even though the place is crowded. We tried masalakulcha , very economical and filling. Jamun milk shake... More

A good south Indian place serving various cuisines including Italian and Mexican, albeit with an Udupi slant.. The fresh fruit juices and milk shakes are very good. Service is Good.

I always frequent at this restaurant when I visit Mumbai. The food is always good and the restaurant maintains its standard. The AC dining room is very clean. The chilli paneer gravy with garlic butter naan is very tasty. The schezuan noodles is also a very good dish. Overall a great experience for someone visiting from London.
