3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW

Had visited the restaurant due to some recommendations. The place is overhyped. Pasta and Lasagne are decent but the quantity is very less.It can only serve one person. Coffee is good.We had also ordered sizzlers which was a disappoinment. Ambiance is good.So if someone is looking for a restaurant with decent Italian food with a good view/ambiance in Shimla, then... We had dinner here on the 2nd night of our Shimla trip. The food was amazing and the ambience was great. But the service didn't match those 2 though - it is not bad but you expect a better service from such a place.

From the moment one steps into this place there is a sense of spectacular in the air. Ordered their club sandwitch and tandoori pizza. Great food to complement the well made cocktails.

Place was highly recommended by our host, food also had great choices but we couldnt eat anything as it was too damn spicy I mean chilli. Flavor was good but still too much use of chilli. Serving size is excellent, all meals good for 2, by almost all palate sizes.

Very clean, hygienic restaurant. Has a open kitchen so you get to see what's happening. Its a coffee shop too that sells amazing deserts and cakes. The food menu is elaborate and there's something for everyone. I'd definitely recommend you to go here. Must try the sol fish and lasagne.

If you don't feel like eating Indian food, we highly recommend Sol Cafe. We spent a month in India and as much as we love Indian food, it was nice to have a regular sandwich and our son really liked the pasta dishes.

Geared for tourists with a huge menu of every type of cuisine. So of course nothing tastes good. Except the fries, those were fine. Don't get any of the pasta, my carbonara was inedible. The Mediterranean mezza platter was slightly better.

We ordered fish, pasta and paneer shaslik. All three dishes had good presentation and great taste. Would go there again if I visit Shimla
