The ambience was great, service was efficient and the food was good, though the price is a bit on the higher side. The place had more of foreign nationals than Indians when we visited.

We ordered the standard fare of dal, butter chicken and tandoori roti along with pineapple raita. The food was great! I normally don't eat pineapple raita but the one served here was so tasty that I had a second helping. Overall the restaurant is a gastronomic delight. Must visit for those who love Indian food - specially non vegetarians. The... More

Our chauffeur and local guide were both equally insistent that we should try this restaurant, so we agreed to have lunch there. We were not disappointed. The food was very good, although we were persuaded to order the "tasting menu" of many and various smaller dishes - mostly vegetarian dishes, with just one chicken dish included in the selection. They... More

My driver recommended this restaurant to us when we asked to go to lunch near India Gate as he goes there with his family. Was pleasantly surprised when walked in and saw lots of tourists, as well as locals, at the tables which is always reassuring. Had butter chicken. It was good but not the best I've had in India.... Really nice & clean atmosphere. A quiet spot with few restaurants around. Good service & food. Actually got to try their Pindi dish which was a good alternatives to the usual paneers. Price was above average in my opinion.

I have always been a big fan of Mughlai Cusine. Butter chicken, paneer butter masala are common but evergreen. Pindi made me taste Rum Chicken which was presentable, a bit spicy and tasty enough if you are really hungry. You have many more choices. Do visit and have a nice family time!

Our short experience in Delhi is that most restaurants have Indian and Chinese Food on the menu. This makes for a very interesting mix of spices. We enjoyed moderately spiced tandoori chicken accompanied by a Chinese noodle dish. Both were tasty. The place is simple but clean. Clearly on the tourist circuit as the restaurants few patrons were all foreigners

It was the first Indian restaurant that I visited during my stay in Delhi. I ended up coming here for the second time just the following day. The first time I visited I had butter chicken, the second time - mutton tikka masala. both were very tasty, the portion for one person was good. I also enjoyed their Garlic naan.... More

In a small crescent of New Delhi, packed between houses of under secy's lies a stretch of land famous for its Butter Chicken and Brain Curry - for people acquainted with New Delhi, this is almost synonymous to The Pindi Restaurant. The Pindi charm has not diminished over the years. Defying traditional business calculations, which put the lifespan of a restaurant at 5 to 10 years, Pindi, which serves hearty Punjabi cuisine, has been around since 1952. Shri K L Wadhwa, its founder had a vision for Pindi which has been carried out successfully through generations. With delicacies like Butter Chicken, Dal Peshawari & Kashmiri Kebabs and specialty dishes like Brain Curry, Keema Kaleji and Mutton Burra Kebab, Pindi is really about GOOD, FINGER LICKING FOOD!
