Great Bengali Food

A very good place to have bengali food in Delhi. Try their sunday brunch, its really good. Its better to book a table in advance to avoid waiting. Their Aloo Dum with loochi (puri) and chutney is too good. Relish your treat there !!!!!!

We went for buffet lunch again. We love the Bengali food varieties that are served during lunch. This time we took a special liking to the fish paturi and the alu posto. Both are typical of Bengal. All other items were good as well. We appreciate the consistency in quality and that is what brings us here whenever we are... More

Enjoying their food for years, I can definitely say, “Oh! Calcutta” never disappoint. Therefore, like previous times, once again we also loved the two of their many distinct specialities; delicious food and warm hospitality. This time, my Architect daughter took us there to treat over lunch on her birthday. Like most Bangali, when a lunch in the form of feast... More

We visited this restaurant in early December for dinner. It was just a walk in and reservations were not needed. We were impressed by its cleanliness and layout however availability of food items mentioned in the menu card was another matter. This place is not cheap and when one pays a price of that order, one would expect generous portions... More

In and out of India, North Indian restaurants are a dime a dozen but Bengali restaurants are hard to find. Oh Calcutta is a bona fide Bengali restaurant that never disappoints. I like their hilsa mustard curry and their curried banana flower. Waiters are very pleasant and helpful. I tried their buffet for the first time on my recent visit... More

I go to this restaurant each time I visit New Delhi because of their specialty in Bengali cuisine. They also serve a good buffet with different dishes from the region. I usually go for Ala carte. Few good authentic dishes are Hilsa Fish in mustard sauce, deep fried fluffy bread called luchi, daal, vegetable medley, mochar ghonto, jumbo shrimp with... More

If you want to taste authentic bengali food, then this is the place for you. Either you can opt for buffet or order as per your preference. Either way it will satisfy your taste buds.

The food was nice, service was good. This a place I would love go over and again. But one thing which irritated me the most is their inflexibility. They have a nice Thali (mix of various Bengali dishes) but only for ICICI customers, at a reduced price. I don't want a reduced price. I want that Thali at normal price,... More

Amazing Non-vegetarian food. Try the mutton curries here and you might bite away your fingers. Great ambiance for a family dinner and located within the most plush buildings of the city, the 'International Trade Tower'. Worth a family dinner outing
