if you like tuna, you MUST try the burger. just ask to make sure it is FRESH CAUGHT! I went here 3-4x while we stayed on the island. it was a quick walk from our rental. it does get a bit crowded, but we never...had an issue with finding a seat at the bar. CASH ONLY!!!More

Been there a bunch of times, Wondeful place, Caribbean vibe, excellent food, fubn staff. Relax in the pool and have lunch and beverages at the same time. Lay out on a double chase along the beach or in a hammock. Most laid back vibe, except...when it gets hoppin'. If you go at the right time of the year you might get to enjoy the Bocas Del Toro Chile Cookoff or any number of other "events" hosted at Scully's. Always a great experience.More

We loved the vibe at this place. In fact we came back 3 times on our trip riding bicycles we rented and rented quads from them. Hammocks hanging around to chill, beds to chill on, pool to hang out in, ping pong. They ask you...to write your name back words on the bar and they do the same to learn your name. We loved the food and drinks affordable. Next time we will come to stay at the hostel/hotel as we loved it here. Pop in if you are going by you wont regret it.More

If you are searching for your time off at the beach😉this is it on colon. Tasty food-try out the sesame tuna steak with veggies, piña colada and enjoy the view. Thx to @german and @augustin for a great time at skullys house👍😉

Ok food and drinks, very bad service. Frankly, the attitude of the French staff came across to me as not only inefficient, but also quite arrogant. As a guest of the attached hostel (under separate management) I had the bad idea of ordering a breakfast...menu: it took more than 15 minutes for a coffee with milk, which was served cold (no wonders if you pour cold milk into a hot coffee...). Additionally, I was charged $1 for a black coffee refill... bah!!More

We ate at Skully's 2 nights - once sitting at the bar and once at one of the few tables. The food was tasty and the happy hour prices of drinks was great (a bit skimpy on the alcohol content of the mixed drinks, I...think). Good vibes with friendly servers.More

We stopped in here on our last night in Bocas. We had a memorable evening here, hanging out by the pool at night, playing outdoor ping pong/horseshoes. Staff were lighthearted and fun. I do have to say that I received the wrong order, but I...told them it was OK, as it looked better than what I ordered (they gave me a seared Tuna burger, I took it as a sign or suggestion, it was excellent). Plus, I was in a good mood at Skully’s and didn’t mind. The place is full of surprises. At night we hung out in the sandy beach on hammocks, and had drinks as we sat with our feet in the lit up pool. The atmosphere brings out the Pirate in you, even they play country music, and serve Miller Lite. We took our bucket of beers over to the beach area to play games, very glad we went here. There were families having a great time with their kids, playing games on the beach, people swimming, pool tables and other games, all going on as we listened to the music and enjoyed the lights. I would highly recommend this place, as we were seeking an alternative to the Bocas Town party. Skully’s is almost like a beach-paradise arcade with a pool, good beer, music and food. What a vibe. Just Go.More

We arrived at Skully's without any expectations to spend some time in Bocas del Toro. However we had a lot of rain. Thank God we chose Skully's. We did not get bored at any time. You can relax on the hammocks, drink/eat, play games/sports or...simply enjoy some chats with one of the usually nice guests in the common area. The location is great right next to the sea and with beautiful views. The staff is very friendly, open and always around to help. However do not expect 5star service, in the end it is a hostel and it's part of the charm. We had a private room for 4 people for a good price. The room was very nice and clean with fridge + coffee machine (including great coffee). I'd also recommend the Quad tour in the jungle, but bring extra shoes as you will get muddy 😀 Overall a great experience and recommended to anyone who enjoys a great atmosphere.More
