Best Kottu Ever!!

We went to Chooti's after our trek up Sigriya Rock and it was the best decision we made. We ordered 2 chicken kottus, chicken curry and a fish curry. The kottus we had at Chooti's were the best we ate during our entire duration in Sri Lanka. The food takes a while to come out but its worth the wait. The beers were cold and the chicken/fish curry was medium hot. A few western dishes on the menu but do yourself a favour and just order the kootu.

Good food for low price

Went twice for dinner at this table. The veggie samosas were fresh, tasteful and big for 100 roupies search. Veggie noodles and fried rice were fresh as well and generous but flat, whiteout flavor. The sambal I received helps the dish but I personally think that the food must be aromatic at the beginning and after the sambal light the fire! However, this restaurant is recommendable if you want an honest dinner for around 1000 roupies.

Lovely lunch

Had lunch here was very tasty. Nice view over the street. Homemade fresh juices. Had the vegetable fried rice and vegetable noodles they were both lovely. Just check your bill per the menu as when we went to pay our bill downstairs the waiter had overcharged us.

Bad food and disappointing service

Prawn noodles by far the worst we had in 3 weeks Sri Lanka. Prawns very much overcooked and noodles tasteless and greasy. Told the staff the food was not so great and got no response at all. You get the bill even before you get your dinner and when you order something more different staff come to adjust the bill without communicating with each other. You have to walk downstairs to pay bill, which is not really a problem. But they are not interested in you at all and keep doing other stuff while you pay. No questions about how the food was or whether you liked your experience. So different from all the other Sri lankan restaurant experiences we had. I would not recommend anyone to go here. Many more, way better restaurants in sigirya than chooti. I should note that the fruit juice was actually really good. Not much enjoyable with such bad service though.

Delicious breakfast made by nice family staff

We went for breakfast to this restaurant recommended by our tour driver and it was perfect. We had two juices made with fresh fruits, an omelette (full of flavor) with tomato, onion and some bread and roti with chocolate and banana 😋 the staff was soooo friendly and made us feel at home, they were all very smiling and asking if everything was ok. I was about to forget mentioning that I had even better coffee in this place than in restaurants in my own city ☕️❤️ I really recommend it 🥰

Best meal in sigiriya

After our hike up sigiriya lion rock, we sat down at chooti restaurant after reading the good reviews; and its all true! We had an amazing vegetable curry consisting of several yummy dishes. Very interesting to get a look in the kitchen and receive an explantion on how curries are made. Super friendly and hospitable owners. MUST visit when in Sigiriya

Best juices and foods😋

We came to the choir I restaurant to have lunch. We ordered chicken kottu, vegetable rice and two mango juices for that. That kotthu is very tasty. The vegetable rice is also very tasty. It doesn't matter if it's juice, it's great. If you come to Sigiriya, try their taste at this restaurant.

we had delicious curry and rice with chicken .it was very tasty. The grilled chicjen with vegetable salad was yummy 😋.. the restaurant staff was very friendly with us and give quick service . Recommend this restaurant for foods drinks and chill 😉

Best chilling place

I had a great breakfast and chilled for a while here. I had a sandwich and a coffee which is great option after a hike in the evening. The sandwich was great and samaraharan was very helpful who custom made our sandwich and helped us to plan remaining trip as well.

Go elsewhere for Sri Lankan food

We didn’t get what we ordered, and the food that did arrive was not great compared to all the other food we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Much better Sri Lankan food out there! Also we weirdly tricked into being charged more but when I caught it out he seemed annoyed that I worked out what he had done. Much better local restaurants in the area

The Best Restaurant In Sigirya - Chooti

This is the best restaurant with good food. Kotthu and the rotti are a signature dish at this place. The owner is always welcoming and provides good service. If your in sigiriya make sure to drop in to try the delicious food and the fruit juices. Lovely place.

A superb meal- lovely staff and roof top seating

We had traditional vegetarian with rice. It was superb. Dhal, potatoes, spinach, pumpkin, okra, mixed vegetables herbs & spices. Delicious!! I like chilli but not too hot and this was perfect, every dish was really fresh and tasty.

Grilled chicken 🍗

Hii there!! I have visited "Chooti Restaurant" last month for a holiday. I ordered some foods there but "grilled chicken" potion is very delecious & unique taste. Very happy about the foods

I'm the tourists guide, about Russian and italiano. Today I'm in choosing with my Russian friends. It was a superb day for me. Because my friends are very happy about the foods they had I choose restaurant today. They had grilled prawns, grilled toona stake, pasta bolo Bolognese, prawn noodle and some fresh fruit juices. Delicious rice and curry

We are here in last week full moon paya day. It’s a holiday for us. Then we went to chooti restaurant for the dinner. We had delicious rice and curry with some separate vegetables and chicken curry. It was so tasty as foods we were eat at home. The juices are very fresh and thick. Restaurant staff was ver friendly and give us to quick service. We recommend this restaurant .
