How is Cafe the Vibe rated?

Terrible service. Takes ages to bring the food. We ordered a seafood nasigoreng and a biriyani with a shake and mojito. The nasi was pure bland and tastless. Couldn’t find any proper seafood in the rice. Took 15mins for the biriyani to arrive after the...nasi and another 15mins for a mojito. We were ready to leave after 45mins since the shake never arrived and asked for a refund. Then only they prepared it and said its ready where we refused to accept it and requested a refund. Initially the management or workers refused to refund as it was ready now. The management or the old kitchen staff person was very rude. Very poor service and won’t ever dream of visiting this place. Noticed that other customers were facing similar issues where if 5 people order within a single table, each persons food is delivered within a 15min gap. People were hungry and sharing whatever food arrived first. Felt like a high school canteen.More

Not vibing correct for me !

Entry stairs is a safety hazard which invites a trip and fall. The food and drinks tested horrible and bland. Dishes were dirty and chipped and didn’t even offer any tissues on the table . All service quality were very poor and the vibe was...terrible. Prices were super low and so was the portion sizes . Definitely not visiting again !More

Cashier was terrible

after i order, i gave 5000 rupees, he said that they didn't have any changes and asked me to order once to the whole group. i totally understood him and agreed. then i took a note of all portions that my friends willing to buy...in my mobliephone and then I gave it to him. He refused it and ask me to read it. so I did it as well. after I read the whole list he furiously said to me that system is not taking it and I have to say it in a poper order.then I was like "who the hell is this". do i know their system order? I don't know whats wrong with him.I felt so uncomfortable and disdisappointed.More

Misleading Menu

I ordered 2 Apple Pies from Cafe the Vibe and I received 2 soggy sandwiches filled with few pieces of apple. IT'S A SANDWICH NOT A PIE! See the attached photos! Very disappointing service. You should not mislead the customers. If you don't have pies,...advertise it as a sandwich. Terrible service!More

45 min wait!

Order taken at 11:20, milkshake delivered at 12:05!! Not worth the wait time, it wasn't even busy as we were the first ones in. No apology given.

Cool place to eat with young local crowd

We found out about this place via our Lonely Planet book and it did not disappoint. Cool restaurant frequented by young locals. The Khotu is absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. Great food

Awesome place for dine in and take away in Kandy city. Famous for its mojito and cheese kotthu. Run by a young crew with great enthusiasm. They are friendly and helpful. The place is clean and attractive. They have modified the place recently. Food is...worth for the price. Only negative thing is the place where there’s no parking and have to climb a narrow stairs to reach the place.More

Felt an amazing vibe ❤️🍃

To begin with , they have a well designed dining area the theme and the colour combinations are eye catching specially the wall arts. When it comes to the customer service staff is very friendly and always had a smile in there face further more...food is amazing specially the cheese kothu and i have ordered a nasi goreng it was delicious and i was really impressed and satisfied about the size of the potion . Dissapointed.

Irresponsible staff. Irresponsible management. They are not respective of their customers. We had to face many bad things because of their bad services. Foods are unreasonably expensive. The same food in the sama quality can be taken from other places near to it in a...lawer price. I recommend you guys to not to go there. Don't waste ur time and money.More

To say what this cafe really is!!

Hey!! Please don’t go to this cafe because it has a poor staff and has no responsibility with them.. the food is like trash.. and the price is very high. We can take that milkshake to a lower price from another cafe... and the manager...has no responsibility.. we are disappointed with their work.. we are disappointed.. Just bad!

The staff was very unfriendly. Food only looks good. They have no air conditioning facilities, when it get crowded, the place is so horrible. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Tasty cheap food in lovely atmosphere

We went with a huge group of volunteers and it was awesome. Food is very cheap but sooo good. You can get good Sri Lankan but also western food. We will go there again!!
