Besides top food, service is usually quite good. It's pricey, especially when comparing it to other restaurants in Podgorica and portion size is a bit on the small size. I've gone about once a month before quarantine.

I read some reviews about the size of dishes. Me and my friend had dumplings, duck, noodles and sweet and sour chicken and we were very full. Prices for Podgorica maybe a bit high, but in general really good. 4 aperol spritz, 4 dishes, one white rice for 68e (aperol alone was 24). And yes, they charged us this cutlery thing. I had never seen it, and I we are 4 times already in Montenegro (and we have been all over the world. Never seen it). That's the only reason of the 4 stars. Oh, and if you are a Chinese restaurant you neeeeed to have spicy sauce. This one you have us wasn't spicy at all. Recommended.

Restaurant and lunch to be praised, thanks for the service, tastes, affordable price. We owe a special thanks to our waiter Dad Grbovic for recommending a lunch that we are fascinated by. Fried gambori, squid with vegetables, corn, caramelized eggplant, everything perfect. Many thanks for all the recommendations for the Chinese restaurant Zheng He and the best waiter Dada. The food was averege but the most annoying thing was that we were charged for cutlery! In the receipt it says “kuver” what usually includes bread but we did not order any bread nor we got any. We asked the waiter what that meant and he said it was spoons and forks we used. What are we supposed to do, take our forks and spoons from home? Been to many places but never charged for cutlery!

Dear Isidora, First of all, I'm sorry that you didn't get an adequate answer from the waiter to your question. Let me clarify: Kuver (cover // le couvert //il coperto) is not something we invented, but something that exists in hospitality textbooks and is charged in most restaurants throughout Europe, so in our country as well. If decide to check, you will find that the Kuver is charged by side of all better restaurants in Podgorica. What is an Kuver? Kuver is everything that is served in the restaurant (tablecloths (asuras), napkins, cutlery, spices and sauces (which is the case with our restaurant), bread, oil ...). In our menu there is a clear indication for the Kuver and it's rate. Rates of the meals served in the restaurant do not includes Kuver, if you decide to go for take-away than Kuver is not charged, but if you eat it in a restaurant then kuver is compulsory. Prices of Kuver range from 1 € to 3 € (in our country and in the region) while in Italy, France etc.. rate is from 2.50 € to 5 €. Amazing dining experience at Zheng He restaurant

Zheng He restaurant offers an amazing dining experience. The food is perfectly cooked and full of flavour, and the dishes we sampled today included spring rolls, crispy prawns, fuzzy prawns, noodles with spinach, vegetables, and soya sauce, Gong Bao chicken with vegetables and peanuts, lamb with leek, carrot, and pepper, steamed rice with vegetables, fried rice with vegetables, eggs, and soya sauce, and fried salad with oyster sauce. The staff is very friendly and professional, and we especially appreciate the lovely and captivating waitress Zorana

Expensive burned fat

Full of over-grilled oily fat main dish of Octopus. Yes, I found one tiniest part of octopus in that burned plate of something. My wife’s main course contained even more burned fat in which floated chunks of something reminding of beef and mushrooms. I’ve been to China, I’ve been to Taiwan, I know what is Chinese Kitchen. This kitchen is anything but Chinese. I don’t know how they can serve that and afterward ask “how was it”? If you enjoy expensive burned fat, that’s your choice.

Nice services and beer but the food there reminded me of an Americanized version we get it here in the States. Sadly, the states side buffet will get you the same quality minus the presentation.

Amazing meal

After being in Montenegro for a few months, I was starting to miss the flavors of America, that being Chinese food. Not only did this satisfy my craving, it went above and beyond and even rivals with some of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to in America! Everything was absolutely delicious and the waiters are very hospitable.

Very Good Chinese Food in Podgorica

A great authentic Chinese restaurant - had sweet and sour soup (excellent and they use a bit of real Sichuan pepper making it a little bit spicy), spring rolls, beef in oyster sauce and fried rice (which is dark in colour, I presume from the soy sauce. Overall it was great meal. However, the price was a bit steep costing about 23 euro that included a beer. Highly recommend it.

What a great restaurant indeed! As a business traveller, i rarely have an opportunity to enjoy with my friends so we took a trip to Montenegro. Our first stop was Podgorica, and we visited this lovely restaurant. Food was amazing, service immpecable, and even a wine list was surprisingly excellent. Well done!!!

Disappointing meals

My sister and I have been in Montenegro for a week now, and, while we have enjoyed some great traditional food, we were really looking forward to something different. We both enjoy various kinds of Asian cuisines and, being vegetarian, I was particularly looking forward to a variety of vegetables. Unfortunately, the food really was not good, and definitely didn't taste anything like the Chinese food we are used to (both in the US and that we have eaten in China). There wasn't any spice to it at all (I'm not talking about heat, just flavor!). It seemed like the only thing they used for flavoring was soy sauce. It was incredibly bland. I had noodles with spinach and soya and my sister had the same but with beef. The noodles weren't cooked enough and some of them stuck together. There was seriously hardly any spinach in the entire dish. We also got vegetarian spring rolls - the pastry was actually good but you couldn't really taste anything other than that- they didn't put enough vegetables inside. And we also got (because we really were excited to have Chinese food!) vegetable fried rice with soya and egg- dark brown rice (colored this way because of the soy sauce) with a few peas and maybe 1 egg. SUPER DISAPPOINTING. I am frankly shocked by all the great reviews of this place but maybe the other dishes are good. I feel bad for Montenegrins who think that this is what Chinese food tastes like because they are seriously missing out. Aside from the food; however, the waiter was very nice indeed and it was very pleasant to sit outside on their covered porch on a lovely spring day.

Great food

We had dinner in this place. It was worth the money we spent. Chicken in sweet tomato sauce and Gaongbao chicken were great. Dont miss out spring rolls, also.
