Poor service, pork ribs here means pork breast and they had a lot of fat and were burned. No salt, peper, napkins. Very bad experience

Passing by Piatra Neamt we had lunch at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the vegetables in the salads fresh and crunchy. Service is very slow, pity.

Instantly dropped one star for the service: 1) we walked in with a reservation, we requested a 4 seat table that was nice which was denied although there was another couple sitting at a 4 seat table and the restaurant EMPTY, so obvious discrimination 2)...waiters didn’t wear the mask over their noses 3) the waitress poured the wine in the caraffe, no tasting offered and wiped some dripping wine WITH HER FINGER As for the food (3 stars): the broccoli soup was good but not excellent; the saint jacques was way to expensive (58 ron) for five 3cm pieces; the fois gras was ok but waaaay too cooked (dried); the pepper beef steak was below average, well cooked, but with a terrible meat quality (“an old cow”), very hard to chew and while eating the banoffe pie, you cannot help but wander what is its purpose in your life (very bizzare taste association). All in all: if you have to eat in Piatra Neamt, have a go at this place, but don’t expect the refinement advertised in other reviews (probably their peers)More

Well prepared food and prompt service. They prepared a special dish for the child, even if it was not on the menu.

After being in Piatra Neamț on and off during the last three months and having tried most of the upscale restaurants, I can definitely sau that Noir was the best choice, as a vegetarian. Visited on a Sunday, for lunch. Even if it was quite...crowded, with large groups or families chatting joyously, food came pretty quickly and the taste was yummy. I had the broccoli and gorgonzola cream soup, which they serve in 2 sizes (the small one is a steal for only 9 lei) and some gnochi with cheese sauce and walnuts. Would definitely go again, this time saving room for dessert!More

Now, that's really interesting! Located on the ground floor of a gray and communist apartment building, the architect of this restaurant tried to create an elegant place with the class and, for the most part, he succeeded. Unfortunately, however, he didn't think about designing better...ventilation ... When you enter, you will have a contradictory feeling - on the one hand, an elegant decor, which promises a culinary and servicing experience good, at least, and on the other, a strong, persistent, fishy smell that will remind you of the most authentic fish markets, where the iodine odor of the seaweed is mixed with that of the fish offal soaked in blood and freshly scraped scales, ripped as fish still struggle. If you are, somehow, the captain of a fish boat from the North Sea, who wrestle with the sea to snatch crabs and mackerel, you will feel at home, through the high-pitched glasses, in an almost gothic setting. The food is good - I served a Rattatuile, with vegetables that looked fresh (everything wrapped in a strong smell of fish). Attention, however, you will only be able to pay cash, because they "do not have an ATM signal", which is unacceptable in a place with such claims.More

I visited Restaurant Noir twice in a week and both times food and wine was amazing only made better by the friendly staff. My girlfriend is vegetarian and we found that the vegetarian offerings in Romania in general are poor, but not here. Restaurant Noir...puts in real effort to make their vegetarian dishes as mouth watering as the rest. Great experience keep it up:)More

We were visiting the area and decided to eat at this restaurant based on all the good reviews it has. We were not disappointed at all, the food was very good and we had a good time there! If we’ll come to Piatra Neamt again...this will be the place where we’ll eat!More

This is one of the top restaurants in Piatra Neamt, albeit the most expensive one. The food is great and the atmosphere very pleasant. The prices are high for the region but in sync with the actual offer and care for details.
