I organized a business dinner here, with partners from several foreign countries. Everyone was very happy with the food, the wine, and the atmosphere. We had live music, Romanian food and "tuica" in the underground galleries. I think it's a very good restaurant for those...wanting to have a taste of the traditional Romanian dishes and drinks. The service was excellent. It didn't feel cheap but it worth the money.More

We went here for dinner and what a disaster it was. We ordered soup which turned out to be bors even though the menu clearly said it was soup. Bors is sour and for me it has a foul smell. We refused the soup and...asked for another soup on the menu which also had bors… so we didn’t have soup/bors, but we ordered an appetizer (charcuterie board with veggies), and that was ok as far as taste, but it made us sick. I saw that some here mentioned about the cook not washing her hands… I believe it. Don’t go there. Save yourself a stomach ache. The staff is lazy and don’t speak English.More

you do not feel like a customer, rather as a golden duck. the singers will take any possible chance to make some money on you, the service is slow and preferential, and the food is average. the restaurant has a huge potential to be truly...something special, but is not, is more a provincial pub.More

I’ve been planning on coming to this place for a while now, but when I finally got here, really random, I was surprised. The food was unbelievable tasty. I ordered a soup and for the secound course I had mashed potatoes and chicken pané. The...soup reminded me of my grandma’s soups - and this is good thing, no restaurant in which I’ve ever eaten soup reminded me of that. Also, the quantity of the food was just perfect and the prices - cheap ones for tasty food. About the drinks - I had a lemonade, which is really tasty by the way, but the place also has a large range of wines (local ones especially). One aspect that I didn’t quite like was the fact that the waiter was a bit nervous and got the check wrong, but in the end it was fine, you could tell he was in his first days of working there. All in all, I really recommend the place - either for a family gathering, for a business meeting or for a simple lunch/ dinner with friends/the loved one if you like traditional food.More

The cook (a not to old lady) came out of the restroom and directly put her hands on our daughter and then went out to the kitchen without washing her hands. When being confronted, she said that she is washing her hands a lot of...times per day and doesn't need to wash her hands after taking a dump. So, really gross. I won't ever eat here again. Too bad, because the chicken soup was good.More

Very good food. The waiters, however, are not very friendly and I felt that they rushed me to order, pay and leave. The atmosphere is cool.

Bolta Cold House really impressed me with the themes and simplicity that I have, but very attractive where you can do different activities. Those from there have better explained our history and have been captivated by both visual and historical beauty.

It's an impressive restaurant because the food is delicious and looks great. The waiters are really patient, really kind and they serve you quickly. I wanted to visit this place because I knew that M. Eminescu and I. Creanga were always going there. I was...amazed how beatiful the restaurant was at the enterance being decorated with grapevine. I will definately come back.More

My experience is awful: the place itself has a wonderful history but nothing to do with actual management and staff. I had lunch there with the family and waited 1,30 hour to get worst food ever. Hopefully the current management and staff will be replaced...and restore services and food to their historic fame!More

The restaurant is located on a sideway which is not easily found. The atmosphere is very authentic and the food is delicious, but the service is far from being either quick nor pleasant.

Unfortunately we were not able to taste the dishes. On the evening we tried, the restaurant was preparing for a closed society. But pitiful that the staff was not willing to note a reservation for the next evening...good luck to meet there staff in a...better moodMore
