Friendly staff, varied menu and generous servings

Went early as at it was raining and the dinner rush had not started so the restaurant can be all yours if you go early. Good range of standard Peruvian dishes plus internationals. Maracuya cocktail was one of the best we have had, and can recommend the chili con carne. Serving sizes large - two... read more

During the 5 weeks I spent in and around Huaraz during July and August I ate here quite a few times. Its a good choice for a simple, well cooked meal that is very reasonably priced. The ceviche was as good as I had anywhere, including at the much more expensive supposed best specialty seafood restaurant in Huaraz. Portion sizes... More

After reading the reviews we thought it would be a good choice for some tastey peruvian that was a little more than your street menu. We came in about 630 and was empty. We ordered soup and chicken curry with a salsa dressing. Even though we were the only people there it took a while to come out.(40 mins) It... More

Large dishes of local cuisine, very good seafood menu on weekends and cheap but quality options for lunch. One of my favorite on Huaraz.

Probably one of the best places in Huaraz for el menu. Normally around S/. 8, and includes a drink. They have great trucha, or trout, caught fresh and prepared to order.

I ate a really tasty steak here in the evening but the set lunch is what entices all the locals in. It was delicous and for S/10 good value too!

You wouldn't think you'd get fresh fish in the mountains, but this place was quite good. Tourists at all tables but very fair price and tasty food. The steak was marinated and quite good, the Cusquena beer, always a good choice in Peru! Hope this review was helpful!!!

This restaurant offers typical local fares and is not geared to tourists. It is very popular with locals especially at lunch time when it can get very busy. The lunch menus are particularly good value costing from S/.8 to S/.16 Soles and offering excellent quality compared to menus offered in other restaurants. I also have tried several dishes from their... More
