Some of us had better luck than others. Go for lomo saltado rather than pollo saltado. Take note, there are next to no vegetarian options. My daughter had a crepe for dinner and it sound and looked better than it tasted.
I've eaten here so many times since they opened I can't count. Originally a good alternative to Brasa Roja, but they have a more expanded menu. I bring travelers here because you can be more or less adventurous- pollo a la brasa is good, but...you can get anticuchos or cuy also. I've always found the staff friendly and helpful, and the food good.More
It was recommended by our hotel when we arrived Huaraz in evening. We had wonderful dinner here and came back a few days later. Excellent local food, mid-range price(inexpensive, though), and excellent service. The menu has English which is easier for us.
Lunch special is 10 soles ($3.07 on 3/17/18) which includes tax and tip! You get good service, a fresh juice, salad, soup, main course (several available) and light dessert.
towards the end of the lunch time, the number of available offerings decreases.
Clean restrooms and...fully stocked.
We ate there twice and would have eaten there again, but it was closed on the Sunday we were there.
You can order off of the menu but it won't be as reasonable.
We will probably eat there again tomorrow for lunch, our last day in Huaraz.More
