We were just coming back from visiting the magnificent "Santuario Histórico de Machu Picchu". Tired, starving (as you may imagine) and with not so much time to catch our "PeruRail" train back to the "Estación de Ollantaytambo". We suddenly spotted "La Boulangerie de Paris" and...rushed in! It is a small restaurant, at the heart of "Águas Calientes" (now renamed as "Machu Picchu Pueblo"), near the Jirón Sinchi Roca Bridge. It is not Paris, but everything was delicious! We ordered some sandwiches on "croissants" bread, soft drinks and rushed to the station. One last and important remark: we enjoyed a friendly, attentive and welcoming service at "La Boulangerie de Paris". We felt almost in Paris! Bon Appétit!More

We stopped here for a coffee and cake to celebrate a birthday on the way back to Cusco from Machu Picchu. Susan was great and they gave us ice cream as a birthday treat!!

Wandered in right before they closed because we were totally lost and needed wifi to find our hotel for the night. Claudia was so helpful and even hotspotted us so we could find the place faster. So kind and extremely helpful. Came back the next...day (as customers) and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and drinks at extremely reasonable prices on top of the great service. Would definitely recommendMore

Could be better! It must have been a very nice place in the past, when there was nothing around. The pueblo keeps in growing though and nicer coffee places start to appear. The cafe now looks a bit outdated. The decor needs to be more...exciting, now there is no design and no ambiance. Secondly, payment are only in cash...Really? Is it customer-friendly or ’I don't care approach’? I had a coffee with a cake, both were dissent, but not to die for.More

We walked around for some time looking for somewhere where we could get a small snack after a busy day at Machu Picchu. When I spotted the Boulangerie de Paris I thought I remembered having read some great reviews about this restaurant when I was...researching the places we would be visiting on our South American holiday so we decided to give it a try. It was fairly quiet when we went there so we managed to get a window table so we could observe the busy street. We were tempted by the great looking quiches but decided on Empanadas. Very tasty and just the right amount. Had we been staying longer we would have returned to try some of the very tempting pastries on offer.More
