I have to say I enjoyed Ezell's very much. The location is secluded, and you won't find big bright flashing neon signs, but you will find a crowd on a Saturday night. People from all around come out of the woodwork to eat and visit. There was a fire in the fireplace, and our waitress Barbara was very sweet. We... More

Excellent food with a great atmosphere. There are several rooms for groups and a great outside deck with a separate bar for larger parties. The place has no shortages of taxidermy local wildlife. It's a super cool Place to eat??

Spectacular catfish and hush puppies. Great collard greens and okra as well. We would never visit Butler without a trip to Ezell's!

This is a restaurant that has had some great years, but lately seems to be degrading. The atmosphere is fun and relaxing--especially sitting outside on the patio by the river. Great cole slaw and really good catfish and shrimp. I have eaten the frog legs--kind of chewy--but flavorful. The restaurant has a rich history and could be great again with... More

Food was decent and reasonably priced. Not a place to eat if you're in a hurry, but the view and atmosphere make it relaxing.

Our table of 14 was neglected by the waitress. Three tables of people arrived, ordered, we're served and left before all of our party was served. When our food arrived, only half of the group was served and the others waited while they ate their entire meal. The food was cold when it did arrive. We were traveling and we're... More
