The Berber Pizza as it was billed was excellent. It was one of those pleasurable things that before hand there is a little apprehension but upon delivery was excellent. Somewhat Similar to a calzone, no tomato sauce but seasoned beef and veggie mixture with some egg I think. Kids liked it a lot (12,10). People, as just about everywhere in... More

Our guide in Morocco, a native of Merzouga, took us for lunch at Cafe Nora after our visit to the Gwana camp. The Cafe is owned by the Gwanans, and the food was fantastic! On our guide's recommendation, we ordered the Berber pizza. It was indescribably good, and almost too much for three of us to eat. But we ate... More

Our local guide brought us here for lunch and we are glad he did. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a table in the main dining area which is decorated in authentic Moroccan style. There were several cats who insisted on sitting on our laps and it took much persistence to persuade them to leave us alone. The menu... More

My friend and I were brought here by our tour driver. We say down in the front room, with open windows and a cool breeze. There was a hip, modern Berber music drifting in from the back room and a pair of friendly kittens soon climbed onto my lap, demanding to be cuddled. It's a perfect mid-day break from the... More

The Berber pizza was just excellent. If you're a big group, they'll prepare a massive pizza and being it out prior to being cut. The taste was great and the tajine was a delicious accompaniment. If you do happen to meet their cat, Sab, you're in for a treat as she cuddles up Next to you expecting a tidbit and... More

While in this area of Morocco, I had a local Berber guide and he took me here. It was a great place. The server was a great guy and the pizza was actually really good. I didn't know what to expect but it was really good. The spices in Moroccan food are just amazing. Also I definitely recommend eating it... More

Our hotel and trip advisor recommended to visit this restaurant and we would highly do the same. Even though arriving after hours we got the best service ever, stories of why they opened the restaurant, invited in the clean kitchen to smell the different spices and the best Berber pancake, that even came out for a picture before being cut.... We spent a week in Morocco and this was hands down our best meal. My wife spent some time in the kitchen with the gracious family that owns the restaurant.

I can't tell you how I enjoyed this Cafe in one paragraph. The food was excellent, everything made fresh to order. The food was just one part of this experience. Hassan was so warm and welcoming. We sat and talked over a special coffee/espresso he makes, wow, I had to go the next day for more. When visiting this cafe... More

Excellent Pizza! Or is it really a Calzone? Minced chicken and vegetables with a delicate spice, almost like a mild curry. Couldn't stop eating it! Delicious and good coffee as well! Worth the stop!
