I was so happy to find out Sofia is open again! Due to the traveling restrictions, this restaurant is paradise, everything fresh and cooked from scratch just for you. Her tagines are unbeatable, tastier than anything else in town. One can also order in advance,...and they offer takeaway. Do not miss her amazing stuffed zucchini, and her own Nora cous cous.More

A local recommended this restaurant to us. It is run by a local woman. We ordered Sofia Harira soup (chicken and veg), chicken rolls, and fish tagine. The food was all really delicious. The restaurant is very close to the Kasbah and reasonably priced.

Went with a local. Enjoyed Sofia's special soup with bread .... almost a meal in itself. The stuffed zucchini was a favourite .... I had it both times I went there !

Although our waiter was pleasant, the food was bland, the bread wasn't as fresh as we've had elsewhere, cats sit literally touching you after roaming about on the roof & among cracks nearby. Finally, after taking our money, the server went directly to cutting bread...without washing hands. Just unpleasant to think whether or not we will be well in a day or two. This can't possibly be the 4th best restaurant in town...so confused by this ranking.More

We had a tasty and filling lunch here very close to but away from the bustle of the main square. The portions are generous. We had 2 teas, 2 soups, 1 tajine (a delicious chicken & lemon) & 1 couscous (chicken & veg) for 125dh....It’s a little tricky to find but persevere. Turn left up the alley from the square then immediately left again to the end of that alley. It’s the restaurant at the end. Recommended.More

This restaurant was recommended to us by several people (both natives and tourists alike--which speaks highly of this place, in my opinion!). The food was delicious and service was great. We enjoyed our lunch on the outdoor patio. Highly recommend!!

We had our second dinner in Chefchaouen at this wonderful restaurant. The dining area is an outside covered area providing a very relaxing experience. We ordered the vegetarian options and they were quite testy. For a very filling meal we spent about $10 US total...for two people including the tip.More

Although it was a rather chilly night, eating outside didn't detract from our delicious meal. We enjoyed the relatively quiet dining area and there enough other customers there to feel good about our choice. The only minor drawback was that our very accommodating waiter beame...less so when it came to us paying the bill with the *right* dirhams.More
