Sat on the terrace and enjoyed a beautiful view of the blue city - perfect service and amazing service. Highly recommend eating here.

Of all the restaurants in the square in the old town, this one stood out the most. The service was quick and business-like, the food itself was very good.

When we arrived too late to eat at Bab Ssaur, the owner told us to eat at Morisco. Now I know why: the food tastes fantastic and the prices are excellent! Sitting on the terrace is such a treat. P.S. The cats get a bit close!

We arrived when it was almost closing so the service was a little slow, but but, the harira soup and the pastilla was delicious and so were the omelettes we ordered. The gem of all was the nutella crepe, we went back the next day to have the crepe before leaving Chaouen. We sat outside, so we could take in... More

Five of us ate here on our first night in the town and were attracted to it because there was no-one outside hassling us to go in and the locals were also using it. The menu was fairly standard Moroccan and we each had either a tagine or meat/ chicken skewers with a soft drink (no alcohol available). They were... More

Heard about this restaurant through trip advisor and the fabulous tahliya dish. Had a great lemonade drink with wonderful olives, but once it came to ordering this dish, which by the way was around 8pm they were out of it! We ordered the Moroccan salad which was ok and the Harir soup which was wonderful. The main dish of beef... More

Order the Tahliya and you won't regret it. Lamb/beef (can't remember) with crushed almonds and plums in a tagine. I could have scarfed down 3 of those in one sitting it was so delicious.

We had a local breakfast. The breakfast was simple but good, the service was really nice, the view was beautifull and the toilets were clean :) Which we can't say about a lot of restaurants in Chauwen.

We arrived in a rush before our bus on a Sunday and on Labor Day, no less, which was obviously a bad idea on our part. However, when telling waitstaff that we were in a hurry, they remained unperturbed. We had to ask three times to give our order and when our simple order of 2 crepes and 1 omelet... More

Morisco is a good restaurant with yummy food and a good service. Not the best in Xaouen, but one of the good ones. Unfortunately what I didnt appreciate in Place Outa Hamam is the constant harassment from the restaurant promoters, all restaurants...less is more guys!!!!
