I recommend this restaurant a lot. Service was quick, view was breathtaking, and the food was very tasty. Thanks for a great meal. They had nice vegetarian options too.

They have the best view!! It wasn't our first choice but when we saw the seating areas on the roof we had to try it. The Shrimp Tajine wasn't that great but the Eggplant Zaalouk was sooooo good and only 25DH! A+ for the Eggplant...Zaalouk! Also the chicken skewers were good as well only 50DH and Greek salad was pretty good too 25DH. The staff was pleasant and was very good at consistently checking up on us. Overall great experience.More

We were considering eating there, though wanted to change at our hotel first. The guy that tried to get us in the restaurant could not take our rejection and in turn started commenting on my girlfriend's appearance with "oh my god", "wouldn't you like a...moroccan husband" and whistling. It's something you can survive from a dude just hanging out on the square, but not someone at work.More

Very beautiful place with every good view, but terrible service. Employees are rude and take a long time to notice you, like you are doing them a favor to be there.

Overlooking the Kasbah and the main square, this is a must try restaurant in Chefchaouen. Try to get a table next to the window, it offers a great view of Outa El Hammam square. Kebabs were great. Soup was okay. Stay away from the salad....None of the people in our party of twelve liked their salads.More

Though it’s quite a climb to reach the top of the restaurant, the view is well worth it. Traditional Moroccan fare at a reasonable price.

This was the first Restaurant we went to when we first 'landed' in Chefchaouen. We were taken in by the stunning views overlooking the village and the market square so ordered our meal - it was dreadful... how they could mess up Vegetable Couscous was...beyond me, and the bread was old. Tables around us were left uncleared and it was obvious they were doing a roaring trade with the tour groups so they really should get more staff if they are this busy. After eating (and leaving most of my meal - a first for me as I love the Veg Couscous meal in Morocco, especially the raisin & onion 'sauce' that goes on top - this was dry and measly in qty) I went to the bathroom and was horrified at how disgusting it was - and a staff member had just left the bathroom before me, so one would think they would warn the client not to use it and clean it immediately - there was water all over the floor, used toilet paper ON the bench and all over the floor and the toilet seat quite soiled. Seriously it was bad! As this was our first restaurant of our two day stay in Chefchaouen, and it was such a popular restaurant, I was really worried what the other establishments would be like - thankfully it was the only disappointing restaurant we were unlucky enough to visit during our stay in this gorgeous village.More

This is the tallest building in area (about 1 floor higher than the rest). So you have the best views of Chefchaouen, especially as sunset! Views are best if you keep walking until the top terrace. When we were there there were dirty dishes piled...up on many of the tables. The staff seemed to busy/distracted to clean up the mess. The soup was cold, but the tea was good.More

We followed our LP recommendation and sought out Le Lampe Magique (the address and photos match Aladdin Restuarant). We found a table ourselves, with a view across the Place Outa El Hamam. Firstly the service was very slow and the staff less than helpful. Secondly...the tables around us were not cleared when we first sat down, they remained uncleared until we left. We ordered traditional Moroccan tagine dishes, the serving were small but enjoyable. Whilst we were eating our food we were surrounded by several cats on the adjoining tables scratching about eating the scraps left by previous patrons. We couldn't get out quick enough, Lastly it was the most expensive meal during our 2 weeks in Morocco.More

We had the bean and Moroccan soups and vegetable tajine and couscous. They had a fire burning on each floor which kept everyone toasty warm. Another lovely place to look out over the plaza especially if it's warm enough to sit on the terrace (it...wasn't when we went).More

Coming here just for the view was worth it! Literally 4 stories up roughly to the top! There are dining levels on every floor, so you can choose how far up you want to go. I had a couple vegetarian appetizers and a non alcoholic...drink which was good. It was very busy when I went, with large groups of friends, couples, etc. I watched the sunset and the musicians playing in the square. A beautiful evening down there! Check it out!More
