Unbelievably HUGE menu. They brought out 3 books! food was ok, service was not fast and it was hard to get the attention of a waiter. The pork / beef burger was ok but extremely tough and no flavor of beef. It was rather annoying...that they charged me for a few drops of ketchup for my fries.. that were also charged separately from the burger. The split pea soup was actually excellent - I may go back just for that. However, in a city where you can get a great meal for $5 or $6 USD the price of about $30 for a burger, fries, (and ketchup - so annoyed), soup and a very tasty grapefruit-aid was crazy. We were taken to this restaurant with our guide while making a trip across Transnistria. It has an extensive menu with pictures of each dish and English translations so it is easy to know what to ask for. We shared a delicious freshly made pastry,...and had caffe latte (rather cold - I suggest it be served hotter!). If you do not have Transnistrian currency, you can go to the bank downstairs and do an exchange transaction. While doing that, I changed another 5 euros and got an interesting collection of notes and coins in return.More

Had a sensational local meal here with traditional favourites I was told. There wasn't much English spoken but the menu did have English translations and the photos helped considerably. Food was excellent and such a huge variety. Well recommended.
