We came here with our guide as part of an organised tour with an included lunch, so we didn't order anything as it was a set menu. The food was tasty and traditional and the service was good. The decor and set up of the...place is nice too.More

The food was great and on top that here is where I tried kvass for the first time in my life. I can only recommend it if you ever visit Tiraspol!

For sure the best restaurant in Tiraspol. Big portions, especially compared to other restaurants and very tasty food alongside with good service! It has a feeling of home cooked food!

Typical restaurant, in the centre of Tiraspol. Offering local dishes at a decent price. Food is tasty and portions are OK

We ate here twice whilst in Tiraspol as the food quality on offer was far superior to anything else within easy walking distance. Very good traditional food and alcohol at remarkably reasonable prices. Of course need to pay in cash only.

On a 24 hour trip to Transnistria, I rushed to see all of the sites and asked my tour guide to take me to the best, most authentic, restaurant in town. I was thrilled. The decor is extremely charming and cozy and we were greeted...with a couple of shots of vodka along with a warm and sincere welcome. There were no language issues as the menus are also in English, which was not something I expected! I ordered the borchst to start off with and I can say that it was probably one of the best soups (of any type) that I have ever had! For lunch, my guide chose a polenta dish and I have to admit that I wasn't thrilled. I don't normally like polenta. However, these guys really surprised me - it was delicious! I am sad that I live so far away because I would love to go back. Overall I was so happy with Transnistria that I probably will end up back there someday and will definitely go to Kumanek! Thank you so much from South Dakota, US!!More

Fabulous traditional food in cozy atmosphere, walls covered with artful memorabilia. The Ukrainian Borscht was killer. Breads with chicken paté. I had the chicken with Dor blue cheese, a variation on Kiev, and couldn't help but clean my plate. Wildly expansive menu lets you stick...closer to Western comfort zone or get your traditional on in a big way with your lard and ox tongue. Plus wines, a long list of homemade liqueurs, including quince and horseradish. And the sum of it all cost me about us$15.More

We were a group of twelve which had an excellent meal consisting of a wide variety of traditional food such as salo, borscht, Kiev chicken, vareniki and more, as well as wine, kvas and vodka. Everything tasted really good and the service was good and...fast. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to try traditional Ukrainian food.More

If anything is entitled to 5 points in Tiraspol, then definitely this Ukrainian restaurant. The restaurant is decorated in a nice traditional style and the atmosphere is also provided by the staff in folk costumes. The food is perfectly prepared, but do not expect any...diet here. The restaurant is in the city center (easily accessible) but on a quiet side street.More

Thanks for the nice and familiar welcome in your house-restaurant! Nice and interesting food proposals, we tasted many plates, from entries, included caviar, to eggplant rolls, and perfectly cooked meat and fish. Nice girls in typical dresses, nice and kind with everybody.
