Food was cheap and not overly priced. Simple and tasty. For those who have a heavy pallate for salt, etc suggest you add your own too up soy sauce or salt. Otherwise I would go back to this place. Definetely a satisfying meal for the price and variety. Owner and workers very efficient and friendly.

After our third visit to this restaurant, I am puzzled as to how reviews of this place can be so mixed. We have always found the basic Cantonese style food tasty and the waitress' recommendations, good. The stir-fried vegetables are always done properly, seafood is fresh (the black pepper fish slices is excellent) and it has interesting options like otak-otak... More

The food was bland, no flavor whatsoever. We had kangkong belacan, tauhu in thai sauce, butter prawns and lemon chicken. Servings were all small, there were only 5 prawns which i thought was too little, but it was tasty. Price was okay about rm60.

Mediocre. ...is at best. Not worth the trouble. Food is bland. Don't even bother to come. Kangkong belacan was the worst ever. The venison was tough and taste over powered by black soy sauce. Crab. ..forgettable.

Travelling with a toddler and an infant, so this sets the scene. My needs: Hot food, easy on the palette, and I don't walk away feeling cheated. Location: A 4-5 mins drive from Thistle, turning left at the entrance, heading towards town. Easy to spot, it has a big sign on the road on the right, when heading in the... More

We decided to try this restaurant since we've been visiting PD quite a lot recently and were tired of the other restaurant down the road. The restaurant was quite busy, serving both locals and visitors from out of town. It took a while for us to get the owner's attention but once we did the ordering was quite fast. We... More

We did not order seafood. Order 2 tofu dishes, 2 egg dishes, chicken wings, hor fun, and spinach with ikan bilis. All were delicious except for 1 egg dish which was way too salty for us. For a group of 9 (5 kids in upper primary), a bill of RM$163 was great for lunch!

Does anyone have the contact number for this restaurant? Can't seem to find it online. Am thinking of using it as a venue for my company's dinner of 70 pax, so trying to find out of this is a halal place and do they have karaokey system with private rooms, etc?
